Topic: Industries should not be built near water bodies. To what extent do you agree?
Sample Answer:
In modern times, industries are the reason for the growth and development of a country. It produces goods that can be serviceable throughout the country. Whether it is agriculture or transport, industries are mandatory to grow each sector. The location of the industry however has been a cause of concern for the flora and fauna of the country. The proximity of the industries to water bodies creates trouble for aquatic life. Industries release harmful chemicals in the rivers and the aquatic animals unknowingly come in the vicinity of these chemicals. The oils that are dumped into water settles over it and prevents the sunlight from reaching the bottom of the water body thereby stopping animals from photosynthesizing. Accessibility to safe and clean water is not only an issue for the animals but humans as well. When humans consume water polluted by industrial waste, it risks their health. The closeness to such a water body leaves them with no choice but to use that water. This directly affects their health due to either active or passive consumption and leads to skin diseases, anaemia, cholera and so many water-borne diseases. Industries should not be built adjacent to water bodies and if it has to be then at least the wastewater must be treated before releasing it into the water.

Topic: Describe a park that you often used to visit during your childhood.
Sample Answer:
Childhood is mostly associated with fun and frolic. Every person no matter what family they have grown into would reminisce about the time when they used to live carefreely. The maximum duration of play in the schedule has always been exciting for every kid. If I recall my experience correctly, I used to go to a park that was in closeness to my house. Soon after coming from school and after having lunch, I would call my friends who used to live adjacent to my house. We would go together to the park and ride bicycles for half an hour. The park was beautiful as it had flowers of all colours. In its proximity was food joints and while returning, we would stop by to munch our favourite noodles. Sometimes even monkeys could be spotted in the park but they were harmless so we would not panic. Old age people used to come to walk while other corners of the park would be occupied by ladies who would chit-chat among themselves. Sometimes my mother would also join them to stay near me and keep an eye on me while I would play in the park. The park was a major attraction for people of all age groups as it offered recreation and wellness to people living in its vicinity.
