Sample Answer:

One of the most popular historical places which I know about is Hampi, a small region located in the city of Karnataka. Although I have never been to this place, Hampi holds immense cultural essence which did not nullify in contemporary times. The history of Hampi dates back to the time of the Vijayanagara Empire, one of the biggest empires that India had in the Medieval periods. The magnificence of Hampi made the Mauryan Empire bring the place under its control proving that its opulence could not negate even the Mauryan rulers. The domestic and international tourists alike are not able to disprove to experience the majestic ruins of Hampi. Historians have been able to conduct highly effective research on the ruins of Hampi trying to prove different perspectives on the historicity of the place. The site of Hampi did not cancel out from the sight of UNESCO, making it a World Heritage Site eventually. Famous for its royal embellishments and beautiful temples, researchers have not been able to invalidate the importance of Lord Shiva as well as Lord Narasimha for the rulers of the Vijayanagara Empire. While learning about the histories of South India, it is impossible to neutralise mentioning the legendary remains in Hampi.
