Sample Answer:

In life, one makes many friends. Unfortunately, it is not always in our hands to fathom if they are real friends. During the vacation, two of my college friends visited my home. After some time, one of them started looking at my library. He picked one of the books that I had just started reading since morning that day.

It was Santosh, my friend from college. The disagreement began with him when he wanted to take the novel to his home for reading. The novel is named – The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I tried to make him realize that I had started reading the novel before they arrived at my home. He did not understand and was determined to take the book. Thus the disagreement continued. My other friend sat motionlessly and observed us exchanging words with each other.

The argument continued for about 15 minutes which did not make any sense. I tried to persuade him to take some other books but he was determined. He said that once he started reading the novel but could not finish the book for some reason. Now he did not want to miss the chance to complete the book and tried to fathom the reason for his actions.

I had completed reading one fourth of the book and as a quick reader, I proposed to him to take the book on the very next day. But he was comprehending in his attitude. He blackmailed me emotionally saying that he should not consider me as his friend.

Finally, I had to give up on his stubbornness and let him take the book. I became a bigger person but till date, I cannot fathom his childish behavior.

Topic: Describe a beach you have visited

Sample Answer:

I am a person who loves to travel all around the world. My favorite destination is any place that has a beach associated with it. I still cannot understand why I have this soft corner for beaches. Last week I got a chance to visit one of the best and serene beaches in Goa, India. The beach was named Arambol beach. I could not fathom how clean the water was. It was a magical feeling. We were a group of 5 people and we stayed there for 4 days. Arambol Beach is also famous for the sweet water lagoon or lake that is located at the end of the adjacent beach i.e. Kalacha beach. It is accessible only on foot and its shallow waters are wonderfully calm to swim in. The sand here is also known to have healing properties. Neither me nor my friends could comprehend how the sand worked magic and have healing properties. Staying longer would not make sense as there was nothing much to see in Arambol. We visited other beaches in and around GOA in our car. It was a memorable journey and I will remember this for days to come.
