Decry

Definition: to state publicly that you do not approve of something

Synonyms: Criticise, Blame, Condemn

Sentence:

After the film was released, the viewers started to decry the script over it’s originality.

The news channel and the media are constantly trying to decry the efforts of the social working institutions.
