Topic: Write about your Childhood Memory

Sample Answer:

My body is not well suited for a beach. My skin suffers from rashes when exposed to extreme sunlight and beach sand. That reminds me of a childhood memory that is hard to forget. I remember it like it was yesterday. When I was about seven years old I took a trip to one of the famous beaches. It was far away from my place so it took me and my family to reach the place. We had booked our reservations in the small resort near the beach. Even though it kept the resort small, I found the resort to be in tune with the aesthetics of the surroundings, especially the beach. I specifically remember this incident as it was my first time that I had visited a beach. I loved the crystal clear waters, playing in the sand, and making sand castles with my father. We also played a few board games that we had bought along. The resort had an aquarium and I can recall how I glanced at it continuously. I loved how the fishes made water bubbles. I used to feed them regularly. Unfortunately, after playing for an entire day at the beach the next day I got rashes in my body. My parents rushed me to the hospital where the doctor informed them the beach sand had caused this. My body did not react well to the extreme sunlight (even though I had applied sunscreen) and the beach sand. Although I got to enjoy this wonderful day for a while, the memory struck in my head for a lifetime.

Topic: Describe a person in your family that you admire the most

Sample Answer:

The person that I admire the most in my family is my Mother. My mom is a working woman. It has been more than 20 years since she has been a Government Employee in the State Electricity Board. I am always amazed by how the mother handles her job as well the household chores. She is a strong woman and has always been my support system. Since childhood she taught me to always do the right things and to stand up for yourself. Even though we are not always compatible, and often have disagreements, I still love and admire her the most. She is a virtuous and loving person. There was a phase in my life when I suffered from depression, low self esteem. She helped me to cope through it and supported me all the way. It was because of her I was able to overcome this bad phase. I still remember vividly how sleepless she used to spend taking care of me, my brother and my sister. When I was a toddler I often used to get sick. She used to take a day off to look after me. When I was a tenengaer we were not that well matched. It was a phase that every teenager goes through and so was I. Even after numerous disagreements she still stood by me all those years. I owe her heartfelt gratitude for all the things she has done for me and the person she has shaped me to become today.
