Sample Answer:

I am a firm believer that people must make changes to difficult situations they are facing. Life is never easy and that’s the beauty of it. Minor or major inconveniences are a part and parcel of life. Nobody can avoid it for long. What we can do is face them and make necessary changes so that we do not fall. In fact, in my opinion, falling is also acceptable as long as we do not give the will to stand up. Making peace with the situation would mean that we do not believe in ourselves or our potential while the human race is synonymous with endless possibilities. As long as one has a life, there are chances for possibilities to become the truth. The cumbersome situations are sent in our way to test how well we can handle them. That should be viewed as an opportunity to groom ourselves more. Many situations might suggest that nothing can be done about it but in such situations, we must not lose our faith and do our best while believing in the intentions of the universe or God. The coronavirus is an example of how people did not give up on the awkward situations they had to face. Many people lost their jobs and it was difficult to make the ends meet but people pushed themselves, embrace the uncomfortable aspect of life and found ways to turn adversity into opportunity. Many people started their businesses and are earning a lot more than they did in their previous workplace. Therefore, in conclusion, even though we all will face unpleasantness in life, be it financially or emotionally but we must strive to survive no matter what comes our way as challenges make us better and stronger individuals.

Topic: Describe a situation that made you feel uncomfortable

Sample Answer:

I am not someone who would feel much awkward in any kind of situation. However, this experience refers back to the time when I was in school. All the students were asked to complete their home assignment as the next day it was the submission of the same for checking. I couldn’t do it as I always had a difficult time solving mathematical equations. I thought once I meet my friend in school, I will seek her help and complete the assignment. To my surprise, she was absent that day. Since I only had one friend and that too was absent that day, I could fathom what was about to happen. The maths teacher was very strict. He would not show mercy to any child. When the period came, he asked everyone to submit the assignment and I could not find any way to avoid that cumbersome situation. When my turn came, I gave up and honestly informed the teacher that I didn't complete the assignment. He called me near and beat me black and blue. In those days, it was a common sight to get punishment for students of the school. What was actually uncomfortable was the fact that my favourite teacher who taught English saw the whole incident. She was kind and asked me later in the day if I was alright. I always excelled in her subject due to the way she used to teach. When I reached home, I told my mother all about the incident to avoid any future unpleasantness. She comforted me and asked me to focus on my studies. I worked really hard on the subject and managed to clear the exam with decent marks. After that incident, thankfully I was never trapped in any such problematic situation.
