Topic: Describe a sport that you would like to learn.

Sample Answer:

I am a big fan of sports. I love all kinds of sports, especially cricket and football. One sport that I am a huge fan of and would love to learn is billiards. I have seen several videos and matches of 8 ball pool but it always obfuscated me. I have become a fan of the skills and techniques used to play this sport. It is played with a cue stick, which is used to strike billiard balls and thereby cause them to move around a cloth-covered billiards table. The table is bounded by elastic bumpers known as cushions. 8 ball pool is the world’s most popular cue ball game. The table has 6 pockets and there are various types of cue sticks also. To play this game, one will require the cue stick and a pool table. I have played this game once but I was confused regarding the rules of this game. It seemed complicated and hence, it was a challenge to learn the skills and techniques to play this game. I am willing to learn this game. Hence, I have joined a Pool club where there are professional players. They will teach the techniques on playing pool. The object balls include seven solid-colored balls numbered 1 through 7, seven striped balls numbered 9 through 15, and the black 8 ball. After the break, a player is assigned either the group of solid or striped balls. The object of the game is to put the 8-ball in a pocket. This can only be done after the player has pocketed all the 7 balls of his group. I know the basics but I need to learn the angles and hitting areas which will help me to pocket the ball. Sometimes the count of balls gets jumbled in my mind. Hitting the cue ball or the white ball is the most important part. There are different areas in a ball where you can hit that will make the cue ball go in different angles. I would like to learn this sport because I love the way the ball moves around the table. The techniques impress me and also you can play mind games with the opponent. My love and passion for this sport is what made me take classes and learn the sports.

Topic: Some people think that companies should provide employees with exercise/ sports time during the day. Discuss your thoughts and opinion on this.

Sample Answer:

Sports have an immense impact on the life of human beings. They not only teach us discipline but also keep us healthy and fit. However, some people try to obfuscate the idea of sports in their life by giving different excuses. I think if people want to stay healthy, they should not complicate their life and opt for some sort of exercise or sports. This idea of sports should be inculcated in different offices also. This will help the employees to keep themselves healthy and fit. The employers should inspire their employees to play sports for a certain amount of time during or after the office hours. The employees also should not be obscured and should understand the time frame clearly. It is very important for the employees who sit the whole day in front of their laptops and desktops to give themselves some free time. They can use this time to play some sports or do exercise. This will help them with stress and physical pain. Office spaces should include a play area where different sports can be played. They can include games like chess, pool and also a gym area. Employees can go and relieve the stress there. I think it is very important for the employees and the employers. The employees will feel satisfied that the company is caring for them. This will in turn increase productivity which will help the employer. Companies can arrange for exercise classes, zumba classes or fun activity sessions. This will encourage the employees to join these sessions. They can also hold sessions which will tell the employees about the benefits of exercise. As per my opinion, arranging exercise sessions for employees will not only help them mentally and physically, it will also benefit the employer in terms of work efficiency.
