Model Answer:

I visited my hometown recently and came to know of a nearby fair. The moment I heard about it, I was very excited to visit. My brother told me that there is a group of sages or sadhus that have come to the fair who practice necromancy or demonology. I always wanted to see how they live, what are the things they do. I visited the fair with my brother on a Saturday evening. It was an amalgamation of different types of people for entertainment and commercial purposes. There were many stalls set up. There were food stalls, stalls for kids toys and household belongings. Many people from all over the city visited the fair. My brother had ice cream and we went to a stall where you could shoot balloons and win prizes. I was having fun and then I asked my brother that I want to go and see the sages. We went to one corner of the fair where there were many tents. People who came from far away stayed there for the night. In 2 tents there were 5 sages. We went into the tent and to my disbelief, they looked like normal sages. I had an impression that the sages who practice voodooism looked different. I went and spoke to them on how they communicate with the dead. The sages said that they have practiced this art for very long and practice makes them perfect. The tricks were not shared. I came to know about the experiences they had while performing the act of necromancy. There are evil spirits and good spirits. They have to deal with every spirit differently. After talking to them for about an hour, we came back to the fair. We enjoyed a few rides and took dinner home from one of the food stalls. We came out of the fair and took a bus to our home. The bus was packed with people as most were leaving the fair. It was an amazing experience for me after years.

All the countries and nations are made on the foundation of their past. What we are doing today will build our future. What was done in the past, has led us to the present state. History is where we learn how we came to the place we are at today. Different cultures have their own history and it is very important to pass on the history to the next generation. There are different stories which explain the life we have today. In our country, if the incidents of the freedom fighters were not passed onto us, we would never know the value of freedom. It is not possible for common men to practice necromancy and talk with the dead to know the history. Hence, it is important to record history. There are different studies of witchcraft, voodooism, necromancy which were studied by different tribes. If those were not passed onto the present generation, they would never know such things exist. People who are fond of archaeology refer to history to find new locations for the hidden city. The Egyptian mummies were found in different pyramids. If the pharaohs did not mummify the bodies, we would not come to know about the rich history and how the modern world was shaped. History is important so that we know where we come from, what are the struggles that our previous generations did. I think passing on the history to the generations to come is very important. This will determine the future. The best way to do that is to record what we are doing today. The stories can inspire individuals to the stairs of greatness. History helps us to remember people and their heroic acts which have changed the nation. We can get motivation and inspiration from these heroic acts of our previous generations. One story can initiate a spark in a children’s mind which can lead him to do great things. .
