Topic: Describe a person who is very sentimental.

Sample Answer:

A sentimental person is one who is always led by emotions rather than reasoning. People who become maudlin over silly things are also sentimental and emotional. I am going to describe a person who I know is very sentimental. That person is my sister. She is 25 years old and is a very emotional person. We sometimes call her the drama queen of the house. I have seen her grow up and it has not been the same since her childhood. Once she reached her teens, she started to behave very emotionally and deeply connected to everything around her. This made her think with her heart and not with her mind. She is always helpful towards the poor and a very kind person. Sometimes she ends up helping the wrong person. This nature of her has brought her troubles in multiple stages of life. She does not have the decision making ability to judge between the right and the wrong. She becomes maudlin over her broken relationships and does not know how to move forward. My sister is mature enough to deal with the problems but she faces the problems due to her nature. Everytime we go to a movie, she is found with tears in her eyes. So related to each and every character in such a way as if they were her own. This makes her feel the pain and the emotions of each and every character very distinctly. She is very kind towards the poor and the beggars on the street. She buys them food and drinks everytime one asks for it. She also gives them money for treatment, education and food. I am very fond of her due to her nature. She behaves in a maudlin way for the silliest of things. Due to this nature, she also gets hurt very easily. Any small incident can break her heart. She is very vulnerable and hence, we family members always take care of her. We always try to make her understand the ruthlessness of the outside world and prepare her for the future.
