I am from India, and in India, we have four seasons. It changes all the time, and so it’s actually quite hard to talk about only one specific weather day that I have experienced there. I can recall one particularly extraordinary day when bad weather brought my city. The bad weather was extreme maelstrom sea waves and rain. The weather was extremely bad and I was out for my college classes. The weather in the morning when I came for the classes was pretty good. But by the end of the day, it became turmoil. My exam was near so I could think about skipping any of the classes.
However, it is also really beautiful to watch rainfall unless you’re out in the rain. I had to run to the metro station as I didn’t have an umbrella with me on that very day. I was all wet. The day I’m thinking of, though, would rather have been different if I would have stayed at home.

A powerful cyclonic maelstrom named Fani is directed towards the Odisha coast. It made its way along the Puri sea beach. It generated a turmoil storm with a wind speed of approx 200 km per hour. It affected Odisha as well as neighboring states like Bengal. The news said that a chaotic storm had killed nearly 1.25 lakh people in Myanmar. But that was mainly because of the lack of a worldly-wise warning system and enough logistical readiness to evacuate people.
Fani is not just a severe cyclone but an exceptionally severe cyclone. Fani is, thus, exceptional, and that is mainly because of the place it emanated, very close to the Equator, and the long route it has taken to achieve the landmass.
