IELTS Speaking
Topic: Describe an incident where you have helped the people in need.
Model Answer:

I have always believed that though the government is there to serve its people, we should also do our part. I am a believer of largesse as I love to give to people. I believe that generosity, love and kindness can bring a lot of change in the world. I remember helping a poor person who has recently become homeless and was staying on the streets. If it was not for the largesse, it would have been difficult for him to survive the cold night. . I saw the person sleeping on a thin mat by the side of the road on the footpath. He was shivering and I went to him and asked his name. I showed my generosity and asked him to come with me and sleep that night in my garage. I would not consider this as charity but as something every human being should do. I also provided warm blankets and the next day when he woke up, I provided him with a tent, a few blankets and pillows to sleep on. I also largesse him with some money so that he can buy some food for himself. He thanked me for my munificence. It was a nice feeling to have helped someone.

Topic: Orphanages should be funded by the government so that it has the largesse to take care of the education of a huge number of children. Discuss.
Model Answer:

Recently, most orphanage owners and NGOs appealed to the government for largesse. This happened due to the less funds that they get. The owners tried to talk with the government so that the government shows generosity and funds the orphanages. The most affected were the children staying at the orphanages. These were poor and left alone children who needed largesse to fund their studies, food and living. There are many NGOs which came forward and showed munificence. Some people also donated money in the name of charity. However, strong and continuous support is required from the government. The government should be able to largess these orphanages so that the children can have a proper life, education and social cultures.

Many NGOs came forward and stood with the orphanages. They also spoke to the government for funding. The only demand they had was to increase the amount and support all the orphanages over the country. After almost a month of procrastination, the government agreed. The NGO and orphanages were happy to receive support and largesse from the government. I personally feel that the government took the right decision to stand with the orphanages. It is the right thing to do as these children are the future of our country.
