Topic: Describe a person who has a Lackadaisical approach towards life.

Sample Answer:

I am a professional photographer and have met many people in my life. Some are very enthusiastic and some people are lackadaisical towards their approach. One such person is a colleague whom I had once worked with. His careless approach towards the work which cost him his job. He was also a photographer and I got to know him with my previous employer. His name was Satish. I started working with him and on the first day I understood how half-heartedly he was working. His approach was very casual and seemed to have no excitement in what he was doing. I remember that he was not voluntarily up for any work. If work is assigned to him, then only he will start doing that. We went outdoors for a photoshoot and most of the time he used to stay at hotels. I used to travel to the shoot location and click photos. This lackadaisical attitude was noticed by the employer also. They issued him with a warning but there was no change. I also went to his apartment for lunch and the room was messy. He used to stay alone. I understood that he is a very lazy person. We spoke about our personal life and discussed our future endeavors and goals. When I asked him about his goal in his life, he replied that he does not have any such goal or ambition. He is just going with the flow. This proved how unenthusiastic he was. This laid back attitude also harmed us at our workplace. Our boss did not approve of this lackadaisical style of work. He was requested to resign and was expelled from the company. I spoke to him about his attitude towards life but it seemed to have no effect.

Topic: Human activity has had a negative impact on the life of plants and animals. Some people think this cannot be changed and some think this can be changed. Discuss your thoughts on this.

Sample Answer:

We humans are at the top of the food chain. We are considered to be the most intelligent and efficient living beings on earth. Humans perform activities to improve the world that they live in constantly. These improvements come at a cost. We create huge buildings and innovate new things which affect the environment. This causes the plants and other animals to have a negative impact on their life. Some think that this can be changed and some people don't. Being the most intelligent living species of earth, it is obvious to have multiple opinions. However, we cannot deny the fact that our activity is affecting other plants and animals. This mostly happens due to carelessness and lackadaisical attitude of human beings. We have damaged the environment enough. People use plastic wraps and other plastic materials which they discard in the environment. We need to stop this careless behavior. This waste goes to the water bodies and affects the underwater plants and animals. We use cars and other equipment to travel which emits harmful gasses in the environment causing global warming. Global warming in turn causes the animals and plants to suffer. Humans will not be able to stop these but we should not have a lackadaisical attitude towards the environment. If we can have an attitude to help the environment, we can do it. Humans need to reduce the use of toxic materials that harm the environment. We won't be able to stop it right away but this can be controlled. If we restrict our use of worldly materials, we can save the environment and the plants and animals around us.
