Topic: Describe a church you have visited.

Model Answer:

I am not a believer in traditions and old beliefs. My family members call me iconoclast. I have always been a skeptic and do not believe in the traditional ways of worship. They have forced me to go to church and other religious institutions but I did get the chance to go. Recently, I went on a trip with my family. It was a three day trip to the outskirts of the city. On the second day, we were visiting a nearby church which was built in the 16th century. Though I am heretic, I thought of visiting the church as it was very old. We went to the church and it was in the middle of a field. The field was full with cars parked by the visitors. When we came in front of the entrance, I was shocked to see the beauty of the exterior designs. The gate was huge and made of wood. It was decorated with many traditional designs. Once we entered the church, I could not believe my eyes. The dome was huge and the voices echoed inside. The prayers were already over and hence, there were less people inside. The walls of the church were painted with old paintings. The roof of the dome was covered with glass which let the sunlight come in. I started to criticize how beautiful the inside looked. There were multiple chairs lined up in the prayer room. We went towards the front of the church where the idol of Jesus was present. People have lit candles there. The wax from the candles has created a beautiful and a huge stand. There were multiple chandeliers which were very old. The interior was beautifully decorated. We came out of the church and went back to our hotels. This was one of the most beautiful architecture I have ever seen.

Topic: Some people think that having a set retirement age for everybody regardless of occupation is unfair. They believe that certain workers deserve to retire and receive pension at an early age. Do you agree or disagree?.

Model Answer:

As per the government, the age to retire is 60-62. Some people believe that certain workers deserve to retire early and get a pension. Some people being iconoclast think that 60 is the correct age for retirement. This totally depends on the person and the work that he is doing. Human bodies are designed like a machine and have validity. After a certain age, people are not able to concentrate on their work. They feel drained and exhausted from the years of work they have done. This might come at different stages of life. Some works are physically exhausting and some are mentally. A person who does physical work might not be able to work till 60 years due to his physical condition. They will become weak and will not be able to produce the work that they used to do at 40. Hence, some people think that it is better to retire before the retirement age. This thought is rebellious in front of the government. Leaving the job can have certain perks. When people are mentally drained and exhausted, leaving the job can give them a sense of freedom. They can go for tours and enjoy themselves. They also need to receive the pension for the service they have provided to the nation. For most of the people, at the age of 60, they have saved enough money to continue with their life. Also the pension will come monthly. However, for some people, this comes at an early stage and they might feel that they need to enjoy their life now, away from work. They usually criticize the government for setting an age of retirement. Everyone should have that freedom to decide when to retire and also get the pension money. I believe this should be implemented by the government. We will be able to hire more people if there is a vacant position in the office. Some people who think otherwise can justify by saying that a human has the capability to work till the age of 60 and hence, the set retirement age is justified. I believe that if someone feels that there is a need for retirement, that person should take it and the government should be able to support the cause.
