Topic: Describe the most interesting part of your town/village

Sample Answer:

If I had to summarize my town in a single word it would be serenity. Located in Western Himalayas, my town (Shimla) is located at 2000 meters above sea level. Encapsulated in lush greenery the most interesting part of the town are the untapped places here. Theorg, Kotgrah, Naldehra, Sirmaur and so on are some of the hidden gems here. Millions of tourists visit Shimla every year.

Fortunately, months ago my family and I planned a trip to one of these places. We planned a trip to visit Naldehra. Naldhera was only about 27 kms away from Shimla and was majorly famous for its 18-hole golf course. The interesting part of the golf course is that it is about 100- years old. I believe the course is a perfect embodiment to the town.

Encircled with lush greenery, fresh air, and the terrain the course adorns the town. We had prior approval for golfing in the course so we spent almost half a day golfing at the course. Later we went to the golf course club for some refreshments. We also enjoyed horse-riding and shopping here. Not to mention the plethora of pictures that we clicked. Being a famous holiday destination, golfing is the perfect holiday sport to enjoy here. It is what makes this town even more special and interesting.

Topic: Write about a time when you woke up early in the morning

Sample Answer:

One of the pointers to a healthy routine embodies waking up early in the morning. However, I am not a morning person. I hate waking up early in the morning as I believe I am more productive during the night. Night time to me is more tranquil and silent and it helps me to focus more on my work. Whereas people who wake up early encapsulate, getting the menial things done first thing in the morning like working out, practicing meditation and a refreshed mind. It was about a year ago when my college final exams were approaching. It is a habit of mine to complete my studies a week before the exam as I have a feeble memory and it takes me time to memorize things.

I usually study during the night time, but due to my late night schedule I couldn't wake up early in the morning. This would lead to me waking up late in the afternoon, which would disrupt my entire day. Thus, I decided to change my routine. I do not embrace change easily so this was somewhat difficult for me. Now waking up early in the morning involved sleeping early at night and a major issue I faced was that I couldn’t sleep early as I was so accustomed to sleeping late. For a week I woke up early, in the morning. I felt a bit uneasy, sometimes I felt even more sleepy during the day. I tried my utmost best to hold my sleep and lay off the drowsiness, so that I could manage my time during the day effectively. But I somehow managed to follow my routine for a week and it soon became easier. I was able to finish the course on time and excel on my college final exams.
