Topic: Describe your experience when you visited a five star hotel for the first time

Sample Answer:

The first time I visited a five star hotel was two years back when my sister turned 25 and her birthday was celebrated in the Marriott International Hotel. I was mesmerized by the hotel’s interior and decor and more so with the food. Marriott International has an eclectic range of food presented within their in-house buffet which serves the most delicious food I have ever tasted. The diverse range of menu and the presence of an efficient staff made the entire birthday evening quite beautiful. They further had a section of drinks which had an extensively expensive range of wines seeing which I was awestruck. The broad categories of live food was being made in the kitchen itself and their diverse starters from non-vegetarian to sea food were exquisite. I made sure that I am able to taste all the eclectic dishes that were presented in the buffet and ensure that I am able to experience the diversified food choices. I was extremely fascinated by the presence of an extensive range of desserts from cakes to pudding, all of which were beyond delicious. I realized that the diverse and broad categories of food are all based on cuisines from different parts of the world. The chefs in the hotel extensively made sure that they provided us with the most delicious food and enhanced our experience.

Topic: Describe your experience doing a research project

Sample Answer:

One of the research projects that I worked on during my final semester in college was on a topic called Socio-cultural Life in the Early Harappan Period. My research project was mainly based on researching the diversified culture and social aspects that existed during the Early Harappan Period and I was able to understand how rich and efficient their social life has been. Through my research I found an eclectic mix of cultural patterns that developed over the years in historical times which made me quite interested in the issue. For the purpose of the research project, we are required to choose specific methods based on which one needs to conduct the study. The methods mainly required me to collect data from a wide range of sources to expand my ideas and knowledge on the issue. The data that I collected helped in gaining information in broad categories in different time periods during the Indus Valley Civilisation when the socio-cultural life of the people flourished. Gaining ideas from a diverse range of books and authors who have made their research study on the culture in Harappa, I have been able to understand the eclectic perspectives within the information that I collected. While the data that I collected are based on secondary sources of information, I made sure to collect a broad range of data from extensive articles, research papers and even journals where information on my area of interest can be found.
