Topic: Describe a project that you are working on

Sample Answer:

I’ve worked on a variety of projects in my life. Most of them have come in my work life in marketing. One of the projects which I remember was working for a marketing company. I was decisive that I will be working on this project. It was for an advertising agency and we had to run the campaign. We faced a lot of uncertainty in this campaign. It was a new product and getting customers was not easy. I had to pick a team. I was unable to decide on how many people were needed but my boss helped me with that. We ran the campaign for almost 30 days and the final result was very exciting. We received over 15,000 customers all over India. The client was satisfied and so were the customers. However, it was not easy. Every decision that was made during the project was crucial. My team worked very hard and made the project successful. As it was a beauty product, we had more female employees involved. They were very hard working. The sales skyrocketed within a few days and it was a great success.

Topic: A leader should take his own decisions but also listen to his team. Discuss your thoughts on this.

Sample Answer:

A leader is a person who captains a team and makes decisions for the team. A leader must be decisive enough to take the right call at the right time. Leadership means different things to different people around the world, and different things in different situations. Some might take a sudden decision and that might lead to a group of people. Someone might be very bossy and take most of the decisions for the company/ team. Whatever decision a leader takes, it becomes their own. The leaders have to be conclusive of every task performed by him or his team. Some leaders listen to their team before coming to any conclusion. I personally think that every leader should listen to his team or group of people who are working under him/ her. The different ideas, innovation and minds might inculcate something better for the team. We all know the proverb that “Great minds discuss ideas”. I think that a leader should discuss with his team before coming to a conclusion. This will make the team happier. They will feel needed and present in a decision that is being taken. If a leader talks to his team, they can understand the problems or the issues they are facing. This is definite;ly required in any phase of life. Hence, I believe that a leader should take his own decision after a discussion with his team.
