There are several challenges that might be faced by a nation due to a dearth in medical facilities. Absence of healthcare opportunities impacts the living standards of citizens in a nation. Inadequate healthcare measures lead to lack of several equipment that are responsible for treating certain patients. Shortage of healthcare and medical facilities is regarded as a waste of human capital as quoted by the World Health Organization. Major consequences of lack of medical facilities can be highlighted in 2016, neonatal conditions and tuberculosis caused more than one million of the 8.6 million unnecessary deaths in people who accessed the health system but received inadequate quality care. According to the survey, paucity in quality of treatment was responsible for 81 percent of cardiovascular deaths, 81 percent of vaccine-preventable diseases, 61 percent of neonatal disorders, and half of maternal, road traffic accidents, tuberculosis, HIV, and other infectious deaths.
