A trek is a very delightful and relaxing experience and one has to accept all the concomitant risks. One is required to carry all the accessories that are required for trekking or climbing a mountain. Furthermore, trekking requires an individual to be attentive while accomplishing a trek. There are several collateral damages that are required to be considered during a trekking experience. While one is undergoing a trekking experience, there is a necessity for consideration of appropriate belongings. I went to Jim Corbett National Park in Nainital a couple of years back. We stayed in a modest cabin near Nainital, away from the summer hordes. The cottage was separated from the road by a lengthy, twisting path. I couldn't help but feel compelled to go that way. Tall pine trees with a lovely smell lined the route. The smell drifted far and wide on the calm breeze. Slopes and terraced farms awaited on the trail. These were really beautiful, and I was impressed by man's ingenuity in overcoming all natural difficulties in order to thrive. I felt at ease as I heard the birds tweeting.

There has been a rapid increase in the rate of pollution. There are several concomitant risks that one has to bear due to increased pollution. Increased pollution has several collateral risks that are to be borne by both the living and nonliving things. Environmentalists have warned against the drastic impacts of pollution over the health of individuals. Air pollution is at the top of the global agenda, and it is universally acknowledged as a threat to public health and economic prosperity. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that outdoor air pollution has conjoined 4.2 million deaths each year. There have recently been significant advancements in technologies that allow the quantification of air pollution-related indicators to track progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals and expand the knowledge base of the health effects of air pollution. Despite efforts in many countries to minimize air pollution, populations in some regions, particularly Central and Southern Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, continue to be exposed to rising levels of pollution.
