IELTS Speaking
Topic: Do you agree that it is appropriate to persuade someone with the decision making process. Elaborate.
Model Answer:

It is unethical to cajole someone in their decision making processes. This sabotages the thinking of the other person persuading them to think according to the other individual. This forces the other individual to think according to one’s means and necessity, thus fulfilling the other individual’s needs. This aspect can be well addressed with that of the situations of common public and politicians during the time of elections. The politicians with their misleading and inappropriate statements try to sabotage the decision making approach of citizens in order to acquire their votes. The politicians lure them with statements associated with developmental approaches and upliftment of their class. However, fail to fulfill those needs when the time comes. The citizens in the light of those statements are pushed by the concerned individual.

Topic: Is it important to have a role model for children? Discuss.
Model Answer:

It is important for children to possess or admire an individual as a role model. However, there needs to be an individual that guides them with their life decisions. There shouldn’t be opportunities where a child is cajoled to make a decision due to their circumstances. Rather, a child is to be persuaded with a definitive approach to decision making. During the initial growth stage of a child, there are several situations that might impact their thinking. These situations might also mislead them at times. With a mislead situation, they will be entrapped in a situation where there might seem to be no way out. No parent or guardian wants their children to be stuck in this kind of situation. Thus, rather than framing it as a role model, we can shed light on this aspect as the presence of an individual that suggests to them the right thing to do. The growth stage is a very vulnerable stage where children might be lured by several aspects, there is a necessity for presence of force that pulls them back on track.
