Topic: Describe a work or task which you have done on time

Sample Answer:

I am a firm believer of time management. I always try to complete any given work on time. Once a task is given, I become adamant to complete it within the specified time. My friends have always complained that I am too much dedicated to any type of work provided. I believe it is my responsibility to finish any given task as the person on the other end is waiting. I remember a task which was difficult for me but I was adamant to finish on time. My manager provided me with a task which was copying 1000 data from one excel to another manually. He gave me a timeframe of 3 hours. I knew it was difficult and requested to extend the time. However, he was determined that this could be completed. I also took the challenge and started the task. I was so determined to finish the task before time that I was unshakable. My office hours were over but I still continued with the task. My friends called me multiple times to meet them but I had something else in mind. The only thing that I was rigid about was the task. It took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to finish the task. I checked for any errors for the next 15 minutes and shared the sheet with my manager. He was very happy. He then told me that if you are determined to finish something, you can definitely do that. He appreciated me for my dedication and commitment towards my job. I was very happy to get such praises. It was an experience that I will remember for a long time.

Topic: Many companies faced losses due to pandemics and could not provide a hike to their employees. Discuss your thoughts regarding this.

Sample Answer:

Pandemic has caused heavy losses to multiple companies around the world. Due to the lockdown and heavy deaths around the globe, many small and large businesses have been affected. Some were able to provide salary to its employees. Some companies reduced their salary by a few percent. Employees were adamant that salary reduction cannot happen. They said that they have worked hard and deserve to be paid. On the other hand, the companies suffered losses and were determined to provide lesser salaries to make up the loss. Few people lost their jobs as the companies who suffered a lot, had to cut the headcount. I believe that the pandemic could not be controlled by the companies but they suffered losses. Employees should be understanding enough to accept lesser salaries for a few months. This will also give the companies a chance to grow fast. The fact that employees deserve their full salary as they worked for full hours cannot be rejected. The rigidness of the employees and the companies were justified from their point of view. I believe that if the company is suffering a loss, they can reduce the salary. However to balance this, they should also reduce working hours so that the employee stays happy. Balance is very important. If one becomes adamant, the other party will suffer.
