Model Answer 1
Who this person is?
In my opinion, our lives depend greatly on our ability to be motivated. It becomes difficult to pursue a goal in life without passion or vigour. People occasionally give us energy by advising and motivating us. Because she has always guided me in the correct direction, I'd want to talk about my older sister here. Ankita, my sister, is a criminal defence attorney who practises in the Punjab Court. Her life has been difficult but dynamic. She has experienced her fair share of ups and downs.
What does this person encourage you to do?
She has always met obstacles head-on with a strong personality, no matter what they were. My sister stepped in to assist me this one time when I was having trouble reaching my fitness goal. I've wanted to join a gym for as long as I can remember, but my busy schedule has always prevented me from going on a regular basis to stay physically fit.
How did this person help?
My sister had been here for a month a few months earlier. She stepped forward to offer to accompany me to the gym so I could create a routine after I told her about this problem. We started our joint quest toward fitness the following day. Throughout the training, she constantly encouraged me to give it all I had and to reach my daily goals. My strength and level of fitness underwent a dramatic change after a few weeks.
Explain why this encouragement helps you to achieve the goal?
I have more strength in my core than I had previously. Within a month, my sister assisted me in developing the rewarding habit of blocking off an hour from my busy schedule to go to the gym and work harder, no matter how busy it is. She deserves the majority of the credit for my current healthy lifestyle.
Model Answer 2
Who this person is?
Well, there are so many people in my life who occasionally inspire and motivate me. However, I want to focus on my teacher, Mr. Vinet, because he has been the biggest inspiration for me to achieve my goals.
When I was in the sixth grade, I first ran into him. He served as my math instructor. Initially, I believed him to be quite stern and nasty by nature, but he proved me wrong. He was a hard worker and a good person. He was acting in a very courteous and cordial manner toward the students. He never attempted to make anything so difficult and tried to make every mathematical concept clear by repeatedly elaborating on it.
What does this person encourage you to do?
He explained everything in a simple manner that was simple to understand because this method of instruction was very impressive. I retain every theory and idea I picked up from him as a result. To be completely honest, my math teacher has had the biggest impact on me because he gave me the tools I needed to develop a solid foundation in the subject. You can't construct a strong building on a weak foundation, as is common knowledge. Aside from that, he is a very approachable individual who offers free tutoring to other students in order to assist them. He also instilled moral principles in us while we were in school.
How did this person help?
Additionally, he frequently used inspirational figures like Kalpana Chawla, Mother Thersa, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, and others to inspire us. Following my undergraduate studies, I struggled to decide on a career. I went to his home to seek his opinion as a result.
Explain why this encouragement helps you to achieve the goal?
He encouraged me to start my own business in the networking sector at the time because he recognised my enthusiasm for computers. The advantages of a career in computers were discussed. In addition, he counselled me against taking shortcuts. To put it another way, put in a lot of effort if you want to succeed in life, as Rome was not built in a day. He taught me so many valuable lessons throughout my life, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had him as a mentor.
Model Answer 3
Who this person is?
When we want to improve and succeed in life, sometimes all we need is a little encouragement from someone. I recently accomplished a goal that I had previously believed to be impossible thanks to exactly this method.
Even though it may actually offend some people, I felt as though "riding a car always" — regardless of where I go or how close the distance is — qualified as a "bad habit." I discovered that over time, my fitness was declining and I was gaining extra weight. I was otherwise feeling strong and healthy, so at first, I didn't really give that minor health issue much thought.
What does this person encourage you to do?
I mean, I was still a young student attending a university at the time. However, when one of my good neighbors, who is also a practising doctor, noticed this issue, he urged me to stop using the car for everything (even to get to the neighbourhood grocery store) before my health situation deteriorated.
Additionally, he suggested that I get a bicycle and ride it as frequently as I could. He went so far as to lend me his bicycle for a week in an effort to motivate me to purchase one and experience the thrill of riding this sustainable mode of transportation. At that point, I made the decision to set a goal for myself to stop using my car every time I left the house in the coming months. Of course, I had no idea how to accomplish this in such a short amount of time.
How did this person help?
After all, a large majority of my friends at the time relied heavily on their cars. Nevertheless, I persisted in trying, and on several occasions, this "doctor neighbor" of mine gave me encouragement.
Explain why this encouragement helps you to achieve the goal?
As a result, I was able to lessen my reliance on my car over the course of the following few months, proving that his words had a "tonic" effect on me. In the end, his supportive words had given me mental strength that I hadn't previously had. The fact that I believed he was a doctor who truly understood what he was talking about also gave his comments and inspirational words more weight in my eyes.
