House Speaking Part 1 has questions related to house. The pronunciation, fluency, grammar, and vocabulary of a candidate are tested in the speaking section. Topic: House Speaking Part 1   

Question 1: Describe your house IELTS speaking?

Answer: I live in a three different room apartment that has two balconies, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, one living room, and two bedrooms. The apartment is well-designed despite its modest size. I prefer to stay in the apartment because it has everything I need and is close by.

Vocabulary:

  • Modest: simple 
  • Amenities: comfortable facilities

Question 2: Which is your favorite room in your home?

Answer: My favorite location in the house to unwind and rest after a long day of work or school is the bedroom. Here is one of the coziest and best places to unwind. My bedroom wall is hung with a bookcase, which is where I prefer to read. I get ample fresh air and sunlight because the room faces east.

Vocabulary:

  • Unwind: Relaxing
  • Cosy: Pleasant and comfortable

Question 3: Who do you live with?

Answer: With my family, I live. My family is made up of three members. Our elementary family consists of my mother, my sister, and my father. Our family is small, yet we spend a lot of time together.

Question 4: How long have you lived there?

Answer: I've been here since 2017 and consider it my home. On May 19, we just finished our second year in the condo.

Question 5: What is the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?

Answer: This house differs from the last one in a number of ways. My prior home has very large, spacious rooms. The campus of my old house was huge and safe. The school, however, has significantly shrunk, and the rooms in my apartment are now smaller. My present apartment is too small for children to have a play space, but my prior house had a nice garden where kids could run around.

Question 6: Would you like to change anything about your home?

Answer: I would absolutely prefer to make changes to the interior of the house. Every item of furniture in the house has to be updated. Every room needs to be renovated because the house's walls are starting to crack. My favorite color is white , so I want to renovate and paint my bedroom that shade.

Question 7: Do you plan to reside there for a long time?

Answer: I plan to stay in my home for a very long period of time because it is my ideal home. Additional reason I would stay there for a long time is that my children's school is close by. I adore it so much that I think I will stay there forever.

  • Academy: An educational place where people can learn

Question 8 :Do you have a garden?

Answer: I do have some potted plants, but I don't actually have a garden. A green area always makes the house look better and promotes the flow of positive energy. It's important to be in sync with nature.

  • Potted plants: A plant that is grown in a container, and usually kept inside.
  • Stimulates: Energize
  • Crucial: Very major and important.
