Model Answer 1

What actually was the original plan of yours?

After several months of serving as an assistant director for a director who was comparatively unknown, I received a sizable job offer last year for a brand-new, high-profile movie. I had applied to my dream film school in London for their prestigious two-year post-graduation filmmaking course at the beginning of the same year, and no sooner had I been selected as the associate director and was anticipating a large sum of money as a result of the film project, I also learned I had been selected for it.

What reasons made you change it?

I was forced to make a difficult decision between pursuing a professional filmmaking job and honing my craft by enrolling in a program at one of the most prestigious film schools in the world.

How was your plan of action different from your original plan?

In desperation, I turned to my father, who told me that if I obtained a post-graduate degree from a reputable filmmaking school, I would be able to get more respectable jobs that would pay handsomely. I, therefore, enrol in the course at the London-based film school.

What thoughts you had after changing the plan?

After completing the course at the film school, I was fortunate to find a plethora of top-tier job positions in the filmmaking industry, so I feel grateful to have taken my father's advice.

Model Answer 2

What actually was the original plan of yours?

I want to share a time when I changed my mind about the kind of residence I wanted to live in. I started thinking about purchasing an apartment, something I had always wanted to do, a year ago when I had enough money saved up. I was so terrified, though, that I quickly altered my plans and chose to purchase a plot of land on which to construct a home after hearing on the news about an apartment that was on fire in the city center, leaving many victims trapped and unreachable.

What reasons made you change it?

My initial option had been an apartment since it is significantly more economical than a house and because it has security guards and cameras, which help to deter burglaries. Having said that, the aforementioned occurrence served as a warning to me about the potential dangers of living in an apartment and other high-rise structures where emergency escape is a major concern.

How was your plan of action different from your original plan?

Making adjustments has never been easy for me since I like to keep to the predetermined course of action, but in that situation, there didn't appear to be any other viable option. My budget faced a lot of difficulties when I decided to buy a house rather than an apartment.

What thoughts you had after changing the plan?

I had to put in a lot of extra effort, reduce my living expenditures, and get a bank loan. Although it was a difficult period, my efforts eventually paid off. And I now like visiting the building site every evening to see how my house is being built.

Model Answer 3

What actually was the original plan of yours?

Plans are a really encouraging occurrence that frequently happens in our life. But they alter as a result of many events. I frequently meant to do a number of things with big goals but had to postpone them or adjust them for a variety of reasons. One such instance happened as I and a few pals were preparing to travel by motorcycle to a hill station hidden within the Himalayan Mountains.

What reasons made you change it?

We were enjoying our beverages at a cafe near my home on a hot summer day when I had the notion to take our motorcycles to a picturesque spot in the hills close to Himachal Pradesh. After much deliberation, we decided that our visit would take place in the approaching month of May when we would be on vacation. I asked my family for their blessing as well since I was so happy.

How was your plan of action different from your original plan?

Following their approval, I started getting ready for the excursion and making final travel arrangements. Sadly, such events occasionally occur, causing our preparation to fail. My buddy came to me two days before we were to depart and informed me about a terrible earthquake that had occurred in the region we had chosen to travel to. I was consequently discouraged and on the verge of tears.

What thoughts you had after changing the plan?

I then made a difficult phone call to every friend I had and informed them of the last-minute change and the cancellation of the trip. Even after my original plans were altered, I still made the decision to travel there in the fall and made a self-promise to suggest the trip once again.
