Task 1 requires a minimum of 150 words & Task 2 requires a minimum of 250 words.
The speaking section is an 11-14 minutes test consisting of 3 parts. The speaking section is an interactive test with an individual interview by the examiner where the examiner will ask certain familiar topics regarding everyday life. The other part will consist of the examiner giving a particular topic to the individual to speak upon where language & expression ideas are the major focus. The last part will contain a general discussion & exchanging ideas and views.
The General Training Reading (60 min test) consists of 3 sections containing multiple choice questions and short answers regarding informational texts of everyday issues, table/flow charts matching list sentence endings, etc.
The General Training writing consists of 2 tasks (20 min+ 40 min). The 1st task contains a short letter of formal or informal style which requires a task type of written response to the letter. The second task type includes an organized response to issues raised in the task. IELTS General Writing Task 1 requires a minimum of 150 words & Task 2 requires a minimum of 250 words.
