Band 7.5 IELTS Essay
Remodeling of generations always has been a fundamental part of the planet’s life circle. However, today, this phenomenon has reduced down in most advanced countries of the world. As per current statistics, the birth rate will still deteriorate over the following 50 years, so, by 2030, over one-third of the population in these countries are aged 65 and over.
it's believed to possess more unfavorable effects on societies instead of positives. Firstly, the declining nature of more modern generations catalyzes the reduction of the workforce in national economies. Take Japan as an example. because the Japanese population is transforming more traditional, industries must lessen their workplaces because there aren't sufficient new workers to switch retiring workers. Hence, it'll weigh down the economic process of the country. Thus, these predicted figures will affect the national economies of developing countries. Furthermore, the expenses expected to sustain retired people are likely to surge by 2030. It may be identified that the national pressures would increase in terms of higher investments to be made in terms of the pension system of the older people. Accordingly, investments in other sectors would have to be decreased considering the rising economic prssure on the givernment Therefore, it's understood that disproportionately fewer people in modern generations will hold the social burden of caring for a maturing population. With increase in the aged population wand decraese in birth rate, it would imply that working population would decrease. This would affect the eocnomic conditions of a country as lack of labour force would increase their demand as well as their costs.
In terms of solutions to this issue, it is important to promote having children at a younger age. This should be in terms of couples having children in their mid-twenties or early thirties, rather than late thirties and early forties. This would allow them to have a necessary gap between the older and younger generations. Governments should be able to enhance their strategis by providing subsidies and tax redemption to families with younger children. This would motivate others to ensure that they have children at younger ages rather than much older. It is important that countries accept immigrants who are young and eductaed from other countries. This would increase the working population as well as contribute to economic growth like that of Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
Band 8 IELTS Essay
It is effectively known that the younger population are the backbone of an economy and through them it is possible for a country to enhance its economic efficacy globally. However, in the coming years by 2030, it is estimated that birth rate for most developed countries would decline and people aged 65 years and more would be of higher proportion in these countries.
While it can be considered as a burdensome as well as a negative aspect for a country, possible solutions for the impact would also be discussed in the essay. Life expectancy is poorly known. the majority think it's developing the age to which they will relish; as an example, people at 50 assume that they're visiting life more prolonged thanks to an extension in anticipation. this is often not the case. lifespan may be a statistical aberration, which takes the proportion of the age of a person’s death. It includes everyone: newborns, children, youngsters direct through to those in their adulthood. this suggests that if the rates of infant deaths are reduced, the typical expectancy is dramatically increased overall. It is important tp understand that lack of younger generation would put extreme pressures in the economic conditions of a country. Businesses would have lesser creative people to work with and older population may not be able to coincide with the new requirements and demands along with technological knowledge in the market. For instance, it would be difficult for businesses to find opportunities in product development because of the lack of creative skills and innovation ideas from older people. New and younger population would have the creative side that would align with the new trends.
However, possible solutions can be identified to deal with the issue by the developed countries. This could be in the form of promoting and encouraging births of children by coupls at younger age.. Governments can provide subsidies as well as incentives in education and healthcare for the young in the society ensuring that people are influenced with that. This can eventually help in social development and more working population and lesser burden on the economy to provide monetary support to the older population.
Band 8.5 IELTS Essay
The birth rate in most developed nations are declining and a population rise can be seen in terms of the older people who are in the age group of 65 and above. The consequences of this trend in population can supposedly have adverse effects on the developed nations. However, there are possible solutions that can be catered to by these countries as well.
The biggest consequence is that with decline in birth rate and increase in older population, the economic conditions of the developed nation would start to crumble. The need for younger population is the fact they form the working population. Older people at 65 years and above technically are retired personnel who need to be taken care of constantly and the national pressures increase in terms of healthcare and even pension related matters. However, providing older people with pensions would not be an issue if the birth rate was high and the working population was higher. This would help in maintaining an economic balance. However, the pressures on the limited working population is more as businesses need to earn higher profits using their limited human resources to increase national GDP. Moreover, the lack of younger population implies that creative development and innovation would be lagging behind at the workplace as well. Moreover, the younger population would have more financial pressures to look after their older family members.
In order to deal with these issues, it is essential to endure some legitimate solutions by these countries. Governments can be able to provide families with wages for each of their children. It can enable higher levels of monetray incentives and subsidies that would ensure that parents have more number of children and the birth rate increases. Providing money to the families for each extra child they have, such as in the Gulf countries, would motivate and encourage population growth. Obstacles to marriage, issues regarding forceful abortion of children as well as having children through different medical ways like surrogacy and adoption should be increased to increase the birth rate. Hence, increasing birth rate is important for developed countries where older population is estimated to increase by 2030 unprecedentedly.
