Humans address it as happiness and in today’s era it seems that happiness is difficult to be defined in words. This essay will address this particular aspect by throwing some light on the determinants of happiness that play a potent role in the lives of individuals. An individual needs to be aware of the fact that there are a number of layers to the aspect of happiness and further the presence of intimacy within the human emotions doesn’t define it in a simpler manner. There are a number of behaviorists, sociologists, and psychologists that have worked upon deriving a meaningful definition that is also conclusive for a human mind to be heard. However, this majorly depends upon several factors and is further influenced by a number of pretexts. In addition to that, happiness is a subjective feeling that is enjoyed by individuals. To elaborate this concept, we all are aware that we have a different set of measure scales and reasons to be happy. Thus, it is a very complicated task to define happiness. The determining elements of happiness vary from individual to individual. To quote an example, the happiness and gratitude that one experiences post hardwork and dedication preparation for an exam and scoring well is a sign of happiness for an individual. However, on the other hand, individuals might embrace and feel happy for an excursion to unexplored places, and this acts as a determinant of happiness to them. Moreover, a child will be the happiest when he receives a bar of chocolate from their father. Even indulging in a deep conversation with someone who won’t judge you for your statements also acts as a determinant of happiness. To summarize with, provision of the accurate definition of happiness is not a necessity as people don’t seek it. Everyone is changing their set of happiness by involving some activity or the other.

While the aspects of happiness makes it difficult to describe, there are some of the common needs that we share in regards to our experiences towards achieving happiness. It also is not possible to fully enjoy or experience the same feeling as the person that is happy in their life and we all possess our own set of passions that we derive pleasure from. For instance, there are individuals that drive a sense of happiness from earning a lot of money and achieving success in their life. However, on the other hand, there are individuals that look for happiness in the simplest aspects of lives such as absence of health issues and well-being of the family. There are a range of other feelings that are experienced alongside the emotion of happiness, this ranges from peace to excitement. This range of emotion seems to be associated with the idea of happiness for some individuals and thus, it might make the same person feel happy in a number of different ways. Thus, there are complexities faced when one sets out to define happiness. Happiness has some set of basic preconditions that come attached with it. There are reasons such as lack of appropriate and safe living space that might ame an individual feel sad and further they might feel disgusted of being unable to afford food for themselves. Thus, to achieve a state of happiness, one must fulfill their basic needs. To conclude with, I would like to mention that happiness differs from the perspective of an individual and thus, defining it won’t be an appropriate act. Thus, we should let it be a concept that people experience whenever they come across something good in their life.

Happiness can be defined in a different manner by different individuals as they all have their own perspective towards it. This essay will be exploring these aspects and addressing the fact that happiness cannot be defined easily and there are a number of factors that influence the approach of an individual towards happiness. Needs of individuals vary from person to person. Thus, unsatisfied needs of individuals lead to stimulating a negative emotion within them thus suppressing the act of happiness. However, once the individual is able address their set of needs, they ,ight be able to experience the emotion of happiness within them. Thus, it can be mentioned that happiness is an outcome that is experienced post meeting the satisfactory needs of individuals. However, the modes of people perceiving happiness differ from individual to individual and define the quality of happiness for them. In addition to that, happiness from eras to come, have been defined as a state of mind. For example, a wealthy person might be the happiest due to the presence of everything that he/she needs, however, a poor person must be cursing themselves for having a miserable life. Thus, it is evident that one has to deal with a number of determiners related to happiness. To summarize, I would like to conclude that happiness depends upon the attitude of individuals and their set of perceptions.
