Band 6 Answer

The line graph displays the quantity of six essential items sold on WeBuy from January through June 2020. The data shows that while sales of the other four commodities increased, sales of electronics declined and those of clothes fluctuated. First, it is evident that WeBuy is selling an increasing number of books and movies.

The number climbed from a little under 10.000 in January to about 5000 in the first three months. It tripled in April, and then increased somewhat more in May and June. Similarly, sales of toiletries and cleaning products gradually grew from 5000 in January to close to 30.000 in May. The amount increased dramatically during the past month, reaching 50.000. Throughout the first half of 2020, food and beverage sales grew moderately, with the exception of February and March. It reportedly increased significantly. The only basic good that grew rapidly and steadily from about 10.000 to 50.000 was medical supplies. Electronics sales, in contrast to those of the other four commodities, have been declining over time. In January, it only totaled 40.000; after that, it dropped to about 39.000. The amount then fell drastically. Clothing sales show a cyclical pattern, with the figure rising from about 21.000 in January to over 45.000 three months later. From May to June, there was a considerable drop.

Band 6.5 Answer

The data on the amounts of six product categories sold on WeBuy between January and June 2020 are shown in a line graph. Throughout the historical period, the overall sales of clothing fluctuated. It is also clear that, despite the other four product groups' sales showing a pattern of reversal, sales of electronic items had a downward trend.

First, WeBuy is clearly selling more books and DVDs than ever before. The number rose slightly in May and June after rising from a little under 10.000 in January to nearly 5000 throughout the first three months, tripling in April. Electronics sold 40,000 units in the first month, but the number rapidly declined until it reached 5,000 in June. About 35,000 food and drink items were consumed at the start of the period. It was a considerable rise from the roughly 10,000 books and movies that were previously devoured. The latter saw a similar trend, rising significantly to 45,000 in April before gradually growing to roughly 57,000 two months later. In contrast, the first saw a sudden increase to over 55,000 in the next two months. And then kept growing until it reached its peak of over 62,000 at the conclusion of the period. Finally, medical supplies were the sole basic goods that increased quickly and persistently from around 10.000 to 50.000.

Band 7 Answer

The line graph displays data on the quantities of six product categories sold on WeBuy between January and June 2020. The sales of garments overall fluctuated during the time period. It is also obvious that although sales of the other four product groups saw a reverse pattern, sales of electronic goods showed a declining tendency.

Electronics were sold in the first month in the amount of 40,000, but after that, the number steadily decreased until it reached just 5,000 in June. Over the same time period, sales of clothing began at 20,000, increased considerably to over 35,000 in April. And then decreased to the amount for June's first month. At the beginning of the time, around 35,000 food and drink items were consumed. It was a significant increase over the roughly 10,000 items consumed in books and movies. The latter experienced a similar change, increasing greatly to 45,000 in April and then rising moderately to approximately 57,000 two months later. Whereas the former experienced an abrupt rise to over 55,000 in the following two months. And it continued to grow to reach its peak of about 62,000 at the end of the period. Finally, in the first month, the sales of medical supplies (10,000) were twice as high as those of cleaning goods and toiletries. The statistics for these two categories of products thereafter significantly increased, reaching their greatest values of more than 50,000 in June.
