The pie chart shows the numerous ways that an ordinary English home uses electricity, with varying percentages. While the line graph shows information about the average daily electricity demand in England in the winter and summer. In general, wintertime electricity use was twice as high as summertime consumption. It makes sense that heating homes and heating water would consume the most electricity.

First off, it is obvious from the graph that the demand for power is larger in the winter than it is in the summer. The quantity of electricity used in winter ranged from 30,000 to 40,300 units, with hours 21 to 24 seeing the highest use. On the contrary side, this number varied between 12,000 and 20,000 units of power throughout the summer. And the demand for electricity increased dramatically between the hours of 12 and 15.

The pie chart makes it clear that heating water and rooms accounted for nearly half (52.5%) of all electricity usage. With 17.5% of the total electricity consumed, ovens, kettles, and washing machines had the second-highest rate. Additionally, other uses of electricity included illumination, vacuum cleaners, food mixers, and electrically-powered foods. The space and water heating account for even more than half of the overall electricity consumption. Around 18% of all electricity is used by washing machines, kettles, and ovens, while 15% is used for home lighting, TV viewing, and radio listening.
