Government Should Ban Smoking In All Public Places IELTS Writing Task 2 consists of three sample answers provided below. Since everyone holds their right to smoke or not to smoke, banning smoking at public places is necessary. However, people that light a cigarette at public places are very well aware that smoking at public places might harm the people surrounding them.

To summarise, I would like to argue that there is a necessity for the government to ban smoking. It is necessary for all national populations, health and the international environment. Though this might lead to the sabotaging of one’s freedom however it is necessary as a step to be taken.
