Model Answer 1

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is in reference to changing my current hostel accommodation and allotting me another room. I am Nikita Banerjee, an Engineering student in your college and residing in the college hostel. My room number is F-30. The dimensions of this room are extremely small to accommodate two people. With two beds and the necessary furniture there is no free space in the room for us to even walk around. We are often hurt by the sharp ends of the iron beds. The lack of proper ventilation sunlight is another major issue with the room. No direct sunlight enters the room and we are forced to use the lights 24 x 7. The room feels suffocated and because of this I am not able to focus on my studies. I humbly request you to change my room and allot me a room with proper ventilation and sunlight. Also, it would be beneficial if the room is spacious enough. Please look into it at the earliest as my final semester exams are approaching and because of this I am lagging behind studies.

Looking forward to your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
Nikita Banerjee

Model Answer 2

Hello Sir/Madam,

I am Jitesh Kumar pursuing Msc Chemistry in your college and residing in one of the college hostel blocks. My room number is A-04. It is to bring to your notice that I have been facing severe problems for about two months now. Firstly the room is not that spacious for two people. Secondly, the walls are all dampened, and the geyser stops working after every two weeks. Also, as the walls are always dampened it leaves a pungent odor in the room which is certainly not good for our health.

During winters we are forced to bathe with cold water as the geyser is barely working properly. We have put in several requests to replace the geyser, but have received no positive response on the matter. Considering all the problems listed above, I request you to kindly allot me a different room. I would really appreciate your help on this matter.

Looking forward for your positive response
Yours faithfully,
Jitesh Kumar

Model Answer 3

Dear Sir or Madam,

It is in reference to changing my current hostel accommodation as I am facing certain issues in the current room. My room number is G-20. The room is too small for two people and all the windows are either broken or have cracks in them. The lack of space is a major issue as the room feels suffocated. Also as the windows are broken, it leaves the room chilly during winters. I have suffered from severe health issues due to this. I have somehow sealed the windows using cardboard boxes, but it does not provide a permanent solution to the problem. I have also requested the warden to look into the matter but haven't received a positive response on the matter. Additionally, I am not able to concentrate on my studies due to this. I request you to kindly look into the matter and allocate me a different room which is spacious enough and has been renovated or built properly.

Hoping for a positive response.
Yours Faithfully,
Shreya Basu
