Development of skills and creativity is important for every individual and needs to be developed since they are a child. Some people claim that children need to be engaged in enjoyable activities so that they are able to enhance their skills and increase their creativity rather than engaging in reading. Children can engage in activities which are more enjoyable that would not only be able to develop their skills but also make them more creative. It is important to explore new things and activities which would develop curiosity among the children and hence, prove to be more enjoyable for them. One of the most enjoyable activities that children can be engaged in could be playing with building blocks. With the help of building blocks children might be able to explore their creativity in making different things like a park or a building. Accordingly, it is possible for the children to engage in creating different building activities making them more creative and developing their imagination. Further, reading books or newspapers might not enable them with developing their creativity which action-based practical activities can help them develop. Furthermore, another way of enhancing the skills and creativity among children can be enabled through painting and drawing activities. Accordingly, children are able to use their imagination based on which they can create pictures and images, drawing or painting them. This not only enhances their skills in an extracurricular activity but also helps in developing their creativity thereby being able to ensure that they are able to use more imagination. Children are able to play with colors and paint different objects and pictures which they might be curious about. This might help them develop their skills in mixing different colors and creating new ones hence, enhancing their skills which is far better than reading. Different parents have different ways of raising their child and most parents have the habit and belief of engaging their children in the habit of reading considering that they need to go to school in the future. However, it is important to believe in the fact that children from a young age are engaged in fun and exciting activities, it keeps them dedicated as well as enjoy their activities as well. Accordingly, children need to feel that they enjoy the activities their parents are involving them in and most definitely, it is other activities than reading which children enjoy.

In order to develop children’s skills, they need to include them in activities like painting, sports, and toys which they might enjoy. It is possible for the children to engage in sports activities which help them in enhancing their physical health thereby being able to enhance their skills. Engaging in different sports also requires mental skills and being involved in these activities it is possible for the children to ensure that they are able to develop their smartness while playing sports. Furthermore, it also helps in keeping their body and mind healthy. Another enjoyable activity which children might engage in is the solving of puzzles. An indoor game activity of puzzles that enhances the curiosity of children in solving the puzzles thereby being able to use their imagination and creativity in order to enhance their skills. Some people believe especially parents that skill development is only possible through engaging in academic activities like reading and studying and creativity is developed only when their child scores high in their academics. While it is possible to understand that children need to focus on their academics, it is essential that they engage in activities which they enjoy and are able to give their dedication equally in other activities. It is important to ensure that children are able to enjoy activities which involve playing with different kinds of toys like building blocks or DIY crafts which children might find interesting and be curious to play with. Children tend to use their imagination while playing with building blocks and make different kinds of buildings like parks or apartments or even a swimming pool. When children need to develop their skills they need to be engaged in activities which excites them thereby being able to use their imagination. One of the best ways of enhancing the skills of children can be considered in terms of using their skills in sports that helps them use their intelligence as well as keep their body fit and healthy. Furthermore, it is important to focus on the aspect of different indoor activities like chess which requires children to use their intelligence, develop them and enhance their skills accurately. Parents need to consider that apart from reading academic books, children can consider participating or engaging in activities like quizzes which helps them develop knowledge and ability to be confident in their skills. In my opinion, the advantages of skills and creativity develop through different activities which may be identified.
