Band 8 IELTS Essay

Technology is evolving by leaps and bounds and giving us new avenues while keeping us updated with the latest news and events. Therefore, many people think that the conventional way of reading newspapers will disappear. I do not completely agree with this, because traditional newspapers are the easiest and cheapest way to get information. First, there are many reasons why traditional information gathering methods remain popular.

First, reading newspapers has become a passionate habit of many people. Everyone, whether upper class or middle class, looks forward to a newspaper in the morning and likes to read it with a cup of tea. Furthermore, this is the most portable, cheapest and easiest way to know the global activity of.

It can be carried from one place to another in a bag and is available at an economical price of . It is very convenient and just turning the pages gives you omniscience.

Second, there is no need for electricity and other equipment. In addition, other accessories are like icing on the cake.

For example, the Hindustan period has attachments such as women's fashion, career guidance, culinary arts, etc. However, there is no doubt that technology has brought about a radical approach to reading information. For example, videos provide a complete and clear view of the reading, in addition to being able to download, share and forward to our relatives and friends. Needless to say, people who are afraid of technology will no longer have a place in this increasingly advanced modern world.

In short, people's lives are significantly affected by advanced versions of technology, but in my opinion, it will not threaten the existence of traditional newspapers and magazines.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

There is no doubt that we have seen tremendous growth, especially in recent years.

One of the things that has changed is that regular books cannot be used on phones, laptops or any other device like Ebooks. For these reasons, many people believe that e-books will completely replace traditional books. This essay will discuss both sides and draw personal conclusions.

On one hand, paper books have a unique feel that gives you pleasure while reading them and also takes you away from your phone. However, it has many disadvantages as well as advantages. For example, it can affect the environment by throwing books in the trash or even throwing them in your house, which in turn can cause a fire. On the other hand, e-books are trending for many reasons, I will mention 3 factors that can make this type of book go viral 1- easy to use and read, 2- affordable and 3- you can take it anywhere.

For example, when you have a book on your phone, you don't have to take it back to the library, and you can also get it for free from a friend who actually has it.

In conclusion, after carefully analyzing both views, I believe that e-books are better than old books, and I personally prefer having e-books over old books, to continue saving the world and also to protect it, the environment from collapsing.

Band 7 IELTS Essay

Some people believe that newspapers and magazines will be completely replaced by modern innovations such as e-books and social media platforms. I partly agree with this view, and the reasons will be discussed in the next paragraphs.

To start, there are several reasons to choose a new form. Modern technology saves costs. To be more precise, most media on the Internet are free, except a few, and are therefore beneficial to those who do not have money to buy books and newspapers. For example, a famous website Wikipedia provides almost any information related to any topic.

Also, very convenient to use, mobile phones are one of the most popular methods used by the public to access current updates. For example, a person will be able to use e-books and news channels simultaneously if they have a smartphone or computer. However, reading printed books enhances an individual's concentration, thus in life he will be more focused on his desires. Additionally, traditional methods are less distracting, allowing people to read and understand more deeply. For example, on YouTube, when you watch the news, there will be more ads than news, so people will be more distracted and frustrated.

In summary, traditional methods and modern communication methods both have advantages and disadvantages.

The advantage of the modern technological method is that it is cost-effective and convenient to use, while the traditional method of printing text helps an individual improve memory and be less distracted than the source methods.
