Band 8 IELTS Essay
It is seen that increasingly individuals are dwelling in little homes or areas without exterior spaces. This essay will talk about why this drift is completely negative because it may lead to health issues with an insufficiency of protection.
Minor homes and houses without exterior spaces can lead to wellbeing issues. Usually due to the little zone for development that they offer, causing people who remain there for an amplified time period to involve stretch and uneasiness which may continuously damage their mental well-being. Moreover the sedentary lifestyle makes it more likely for tenants to endure from respiratory problems which can possibly spread among other house individuals. For example, ponders carried out by the United States have appeared that in later decades there has been a rise in cases of respiratory illnesses. Around 30 percent of these are associated with the living environment of those enduring these conditions.
In small houses, individual space is non-existent. Oftentimes in such families with more than one child, there's a need to share rooms which can lead to need of security as they might continuously have somebody else around and may not express their true self. Moreover, people dwelling in minor homes feel uneasy around welcoming companions over due to the constrained space accessible. For example, children living in littler residences inside Spain don't regularly welcome peers over; contrastingly those dwelling in bigger homes prepared with gardens and swimming pools do expand solicitations for companions visits.
In conclusion, residing in compact houses without any outside region might result in individuals enduring from mental wellbeing clutters. It too encourages the spread of ailment due to negligible individual space for house inhabitants. Subsequently, I am of the supposition that little houses are an unfavorable improvement.
Band 7.5 IELTS Essay
With the increase in population, living in small spaces without outdoor space has become popular. Some people believe that living in small spaces is a negative development. I think it will lead to health problems and lack of privacy. In the following paragraphs I will talk about it in more detail. First of all, lack of space will lead to health problems, especially physical ones. In small spaces like apartments, they cannot move around. The inability to move can lead to obesity, reduced flexibility and muscle damage. Obesity can also affect mental health such as low self-esteem and depression. Depression can be caused by difficulty maintaining relationships and changing lifestyles, making them feel lonely, especially as they get older.
In addition, living in a small house means no privacy. Not setting boundaries can cause conflicts between family members, especially siblings, or can make them dependent. In my opinion, this hinders personal growth. In fact, in difficult situations, they cannot solve personal problems and in some cases, they cannot advance in their careers. This forces them to continue living with few facilities. For example, I live in a big house with my family, because we have enough rooms and space, we are independent and self-sufficient. We respect ourselves and our parents by having our own room.
In conclusion, I think that living in small houses without a garden will lead to mental disorders and educational problems that affect members of society. As everyone knows, all the problems I mentioned cause social problems and I recommend that the government should pay attention to the people.
Band 7 IELTS Essay
More and more people are moving to urban areas for various reasons, which is affecting our standard of living.
Cramped homes with little or no outdoor space are being built to accommodate the growing population. I firmly believe that this development has a negative impact on people's lives. The first reason is that with the increasing number of city dwellers, cities are becoming overcrowded and expensive. Many people can only afford small homes that lack adequate outdoor space. These cramped homes are detrimental to people’s lives in many ways, including their social lives. With busy schedules and work pressures, people feel tempted to invite friends or family home for small get-togethers or parties during their free time. However, due to the limited space, with little or no outdoor space, such gatherings are often avoided, leading to a feeling of loneliness.
Thus, cramped homes built due to overcrowding in cities have a negative impact on people in society. Another reason is that it affects people's mental and physical health. Many urban homes may not have balconies or good ventilation due to centralized air conditioning. This limits natural air and cross ventilation in the house, affecting people's physical health by causing respiratory diseases. On the other hand, there is no space for residents to feel relaxed or relieve stress and anxiety away from closed walls, which affects their mental health. For example, children will not be able to play outdoors in their free time because there is no suitable space unless adults take them to the garden or playground, which is not possible every day. Urban development with little or no outdoor space will negatively affect human health.
In my opinion, to conclude, the development of houses with little or no outdoor space in cities to meet the needs of the growing population is a negative development. It not only affects people's social life but also has a great impact on their physical and mental health.
