The process of making coffee is depicted in the diagram, which starts with sorting the beans and ends with retail sale.

The beans must go through a number of procedures, such as cleaning, heating, hulling and grinding, in order to make dry coffee.

The process starts with the sorting of coffee beans. This process uses no machines and is done by hands, so it is labor intensive. The beans are then cleaned using a sieve. To further grind the beans, these are dried in the sun. The duration of their drying up takes almost 4 weeks.

The beans are then racked and turned in the fields. These are stored in the silo for further processes. This is the point where beans are sent to mills for other processes done using machines.
