Others might constantly have a pessimistic viewpoint, in which case we refer to them as pessimistic people.

However, to truly understand a person, we need to take into account a number of additional factors in addition to the one we can see through their demeanor. First of all, when we talk about one person, their life experiences are crucial. A person who has worked as a doctor, for instance, may have a deeper understanding of life and death. Second, qualifications can help us understand a person better since they show what academic knowledge and abilities they have acquired.
