There is a wide variety of content available on television, including news, sports, movies, travel blogs, food blogs, etc. By simply turning on their televisions, people could watch anything from the comfort of their own homes and receive news about events around the globe. Both positive and negative effects of television programming on society exist.

a deeply meaningful television programme that lessens gender bias and inequality while fostering nationalism and patriotism It has a positive effect on society because it has the potential to influence young people's thinking and motivate them to pursue the right objectives in life.

Although television is a fantastic source of knowledge and information, each person has a different preference for its programming. The programme must be wise in order to teach anything significant that could lead to a positive change in the learner and in society as a whole, yet most programmes fall short in this regard. Television is another effective tool for the government because it can quickly and widely spread any message or information to a large audience. Therefore, the government should likewise be required to look into the substance of television programmes.

Because it could have serious repercussions for the younger generation, the government must outlaw the programme because it contains violent, adult scenes. The conclusion is that, when watched properly, television can be a fantastic source of knowledge, education, and information. While it might also have a negative effect on people if they make poor decisions.

Band 7.5 IELTS Essay

Television is one of the important inventions of human life. Television brings about a revolutionary change in the life of people as people could sit back and relax in their own homes and could get the news worldwide. Television also contributes to the entertainment factors with comedy shows and movies. Apart from the entertainment factor, television is a great source of education and knowledge, which is being transferred from generation to generation.

But television also comes with some drawbacks. In the fast-growing economy, tv channels are telecasting a number of tv shows, web series, and movies according to human demand. But, the producers of certain shows cross the boundary just to satisfy their profit motives.

We can see an increasing trend of violence and adult scenes in those television shows. All those contents have a serious impact on human life and society, mainly the adolescent group as they are more impressionable than adults. Some television shows and web series including Game of Thrones, Mirzapur, Gangs of Wasseypur contain harsh scenes full of violence. Consequently, it affects a child's social outlook, as he could think it is right to fight with anybody to fulfill his desire and attain power in his group. It is believed that human brains are imaginative. And often the young generation is getting the wrong message from such shows and is directed towards the path that is detrimental to society. One instance must be mentioned that a child once injects a compass into the hand of his classmate seeing a web series. These kinds of incidents are fatal and are increasing in leaps and bounds. The producer of these kinds of television shows, movies, and serials is making these kinds of scenes just to entertain the people and attain maximum reach. And, it also increases their profits. Although, television is an integral part of human life. It brings worldwide news to one's doorstep just sitting at home while switching the tv on. The content of the tv shows, and the movie must be taken care of and the parents should also investigate whether their child is watching the correct content. Bnad 6 IELTS Essay

Television, in today's world, has become indispensable to human life. People irrespective of their age, and sex stayed glued in front of the tv for hours and there is a wide range of content available on different channels. But among them, not all have a positive impact. Some of them are educational and information tv channels that deliver day-to-day news. They open our minds by providing information that is unlikely to be taught elsewhere. But some tv channels that show violence, and fight scenes have a serious impact on a child and on society.

There has been evidence that claims watching violent and aggressive shows, movies, and web series on television has a serious negative impact on a child. Children are great imitators of actions performed by celebrities in an action movie who are considered role models by the children. It is often seen that children imitate stunts, the action performed by the actors. In the process, they can get seriously hurt or could hurt others with their activities. Violence tv shows often create a sense of aggressiveness in younger minds as they are unable to distinguish what is good or bad. Recent data have shown that murder rates have increased in leaps and bounds as the younger generation imitates what they watch on television. The younger generation has very little self-control. Those scenes affect an individual physically, mentally, and emotionally. They affect children's grades, sleep, daily activities, and social and personal life. According to research, 47% of violent activities amongst children have increased only by watching television shows. These television shows have also resulted in lowering mutual respect, love, and sympathy toward other individuals. Children imitate their role models by watching them on screen. And they believe that their actions will not be punished and continue to perform unfair actions as crime and violence do not cause any harm. Continuous viewing of television and listening to harsh loud sounds can also have serious effects on the eyes and ears. Thus, it can be concluded it is the duty of the parents to restrict their children from watching such television shows. Government must also look at the content telecasted on renowned tv channels. Television contains both positive and negative contents, it depends on the individual and the choices he makes.
