Band 6.5 Answer

The provided graphic clearly demonstrates the steps involved in creating frozen fish pies for retail sale. The use of potatoes, peas, sauce, and fresh salmon, along with the other three elements, is evident overall (a sizable edible fish). There are several preparation techniques needed for every item. When possible, up to a month in advance, potatoes are the first product brought to the factory.

Cleaning, peeling, and slicing are all steps in the preparation of potatoes. These slices go through a boiling and cooling process before being stored for the pie-making process, while the leftover potato peels are discarded. Compared to boiling potatoes, fish takes longer to prepare. Fish is transported to the factory during the course of a 12-hour period. These slices are seasoned with lemon juice and salt before steaming in the oven. The next step involved manually removing the skin and bones. The visual inspection method involves all of the material. Peas and sauce must be made in order to make the pie. Pies are gathered in containers that can be microwaved. The prepared peas and sauce are then added on top of the fish, and the pie is finished off with slices of baked potato. The pies are properly packaged and frozen before they are either shipped out or put in storage.

Band 7 Answer

The images show the components of a fish pie created in a factory and the methods involved in making it. The pie is made in ten steps, from delivery to dispatch, and includes salmon, peas, sauce, and potatoes. Different preparation techniques are necessary for every item. Before it can be added to the pie, the ingredient potato must first go through its own six-stage preparation process.

Up to a month in advance, the potatoes are supplied to the processing facility. On the assembly line, potatoes are the first ingredient to be prepared. Up to a month prior to the start of the procedure, they are sent to the factory where they must be cleaned, peeled, and sliced. The sliced potatoes are boiled, then refrigerated and kept in storage while the potato peelings are discarded. Within 12 hours after arrival, fresh salmon is treated with salt and lemon juice at the plant before being cooked in a steam oven. The fish is then examined after the factory employees remove and discard the skin and bones. To make the pie, you must first make the peas and sauce. Pies are gathered in microwave-safe containers and are then topped with pre-made potatoes, sauce, and peas after inspection. The finished fish pies are wrapped, placed in the freezer, and then either kept or distributed.

Band 7.5 Answer

The given graphic shows the order of various procedures involved in the commercial production of frozen fish pies. Fresh salmon, peas, sauce, and potatoes serve as the major ingredients in this dish. It is evident from the graphic that the preparation process is separate. Every item requires a unique set of preparation methods.

Up to a month in advance, the potatoes are supplied to the processing facility. The potato component of the pie must first go through a six-stage preparation process before being added. These are first carefully cleaned, then peeled, and finally sliced. Following two steps of boiling and cooling, these are put in storage for the production of the pie. Moving on to the processing of the fish, salmon slices must be delivered to the factory within 12 hours of the process. These slices are seasoned with salt and lemon juice before being cooked in the oven. The skin and bones are physically removed from it in the following stage. A comprehensive visual inspection follows this. Peas and sauce must be made in order to prepare the pie, and they are done so before the pie is wrapped in microwave-safe containers. Before being either kept or sent, the pies are methodically wrapped by hand and placed in a freezer.
