The two numbers contrast the number of individuals recruited in various fields during the years of 1998 and 2001. It is evident that although certain occupations maintained their employment percentages, other positions had an increase or decrease in workforce.

The bar graph and pie chart both show that the percentages of casual and self-employed workers levelled out at roughly the same levels in the years 1998 and 2001, or 3% and 19%, respectively. Contrarily, there were 4% more persons working under contract in 2001 than there were in 1998, increasing the proportion of this category. Additionally, the number of jobless people increased dramatically, up to 6% in 2001.

Additionally, the percentage of employment decreased at other places. In 2001, there was a small 7% decrease in part-time employment. However, hiring for full-time positions fell off significantly in the same year, by around 11%.
