Social media is the medium through which we get news about worldly events. Also, we get awareness regarding any matter. But for celebrities and politicians it is a dangerous weapon. A weapon which displays their life openly. It is very controversial whether politicians' lives should be published in newspapers or not. I strongly support this viewpoint. Politician's life must be openly displayed. We must know whom we trusted to run the country. We must have knowledge about the characteristics and personality of politicians.
It will help us to make wise decisions regarding elections and voting. We often see many cases filed up against publishers. Same is with the celebrity case. Celebrities and politicians are the most published in newspapers. Big headlines are made for them. Their life is displayed. However, I am not in favor of the personal life display of celebrities. It is their job to work for our entertainment. It is not our right to know about their personal lives. They must be given freedom to live their life privately. Also, there should be no forceful interference with them. News published on celebrities affect their popularity. Some news are published on purpose to gain popularity.
However, it is our right to know about politicians ' lives. It is a matter of our common interest and country. Many politicians are supporters of corruption. Many go bankrupt and it affects the development of our country. Corruption is the main cause of stagnant development. As people have the right to information, it is important to be aware of the personality of politicians. People are more interested in the personal lives of politicians as compared to voting. But some honest politicians might get caught up due to the news. Many opposing parties try to create a negative reputation of the ruling party. There might be personal appointed publishers for such purposes. People must not believe everything that is published. Every news article must be researched before judging anyone.
Same with celebrities. With celebrities, they get judged all the time. Publishers intentionally put fake news to popularize their newspaper.

Publishing news about celebrities and politician's personal lives might affect their personality. Some people are of the opinion that they have the full right to know about others' lives. Especially when it comes to politicians. But as we have the right to information others have the right to privacy. Interfering in their personal life might be wrong. We do have the right to know about the personality of the politicians and representatives we elect. But newspapers publish certain news that might not be appropriate to be published.
Besides, being the political representatives, they are also a citizen of a country and they have the privilege to keep their personal life unrevealed. It is a breach of law to destroy their personal life and privacy. They have the full right to continue their personal life simultaneously to the role they play.
It might be emotionally sad for their family too. Many problems might get created due to the news published. They might get emotionally unstable due to fake news. It is very intimidating to display someone's life openly. Few things are kept secret with the family members as well. But such news getting published might destroy someone's career. However, we do have the right to know about political matters of the country. Their corruption and about their earlier experiences. It will help us to make wise decisions in regard to political matters. We will be able to choose our representatives wisely. It will also give us an idea about who can run the country and who can not. Country's development depends upon the government and leaders who run the government. It depends on our choice who forms the government.
To conclude, it is their right to have privacy. No newspaper must publish the news to destroy their image. Before publishing news the subjects must be concerned and told about it. They have the right to know about what news will get published about them. But they should be open about the governmental decisions they take.

It is commonly argued that media and publishers should not publish about politicians ' personal lives. I strongly agree with this statement. The political leaders are also the citizens of India. They have full right to privacy. There should be no interference in their personal lives. It is important to maintain personal and professional life. There should be no clashing of the two different roles played. It not only led to destruction of image but also decreased the trust of the people in their chosen representatives.
Vernacular press act was launched to provide freedom of news and information. It does not mean to exploit such rights. Nowadays, publishers publish fake news. They affect adversely. Not only politicians but people are very interested to know the personal life of celebrities. I have seen many celebrities getting mentally affected by the comments and news published about them. Celebrities cry because of the comments they get. Some news are so intimidating that they emotionally affect the person. It hurts more when a person has not done anything and it still gets published.
Politicians should be given freedom to lead their personal lives. Looking at their past and judging them is not good. Also, people should not trust anything that gets published. Every news must be checked and researched before believing it.
In conclusion, I strongly disagree with personal life publishing. Whether it is a politician, celebrity or anyone they have the right to lead their personal lives. However, their professional lives must be published. The decisions they take and also the work they do for the country must be paid attention. They should not be judged. Female candidates especially get the most controversy regarding their personal lives. They get personally attacked by the news publishers. They get into depression and face many health issues due to the news. News must not affect someone mentally or physically. They are for getting information and knowledge.
