Model Answer 1

What was the place and when did you visit it?
People travel to a variety of locations during their lives. Visiting places with distinct essences adds amusement and excitement to our everyday life. I also happened to visit a location that embodied ancient art and culture. I genuinely expanded my understanding through my encounters and reading of inscriptions. They were the magnificent Ajanta and Ellora caves in Maharashtra, near Aurangabad. They are essentially mural paintings on walls and roofs dedicated to Hindu and Buddhist teachings. Rashtrakuta monarchs of the 7th century erected them. I went there during my school's summer vacation in 2020.

Who was you along with?
I traveled with my family, which included my mother, father, and older brother. My brother was on vacation from college at the time. My brother always referred to the caverns as a work of art and culture. So my father requested leave from his office, booked our train tickets, and we all traveled to Aurangabad together.

What did you see, feel and experience?
As for me, touring the caves, which serve as a museum of ancient art and culture, was a wonderful experience. The artistry of the craftsmen involved in this architecture captivated me. I noticed various Hindu gods and goddesses depicted in wall murals and carvings. The paintings retain their natural kaleidoscopic color play. Inside, the Krishna temple is the most spectacular.
I felt completely swept away by the tides of time. I was astounded to see the art masterpiece constructed with the absence of technology and heavy machinery. I was getting goosebumps after reading and discussing the details of numerous temples in the precinct at the same time.

And if given a chance, would you like to revisit.
That excursion sparked my interest in ancient Indian art and culture. I even jotted down the specifics in my diary. If the opportunity to return arises, I would gladly accept it. Those memories of the beauty engraved in the stone have left everlasting imprints on my memory, pulling me back for another visit.

What was the place and when did you visit it?
When I was a kid, I went to an exhibition.

Who was you along with?
I visited this show while in school and went on a field trip to the art exhibition. The exhibition took place pretty close to my school. We attended with some of our classmates and professors. The display was organized on Independence Day to honour our liberation warriors' struggles.

What did you see, feel and experience?
Many portraits of Indian freedom warriors such as Gandhi, Tagore, Bhagat Singh, Subash Chandra Bose, and others were on display. There was also a notice near each artwork that told the children about the individual in the painting, which was really helpful. As children, we learned a lot and had a nice time celebrating Independence Day.

And if given a chance, would you like to revisit.
That was my first time attending an exhibition, and I was thrilled to be there. My pals and I had a great time together. Despite the fact that I appreciated the art exhibition, there were no more exhibitions near my school after that.
I hope that additional art exhibitions are organized near our school so that more students can attend and have a different experience and expand their interests in the arts.

What was the place and when did you visit it?
Each winter, several art shows grace the galleries of my city; however, their distant locations from my residence have never compelled me to attend. This indifference transformed when I accompanied a couple of friends to an exhibition about two years ago: I will provide you with an explicit account of the events.

Who was you along with?
Do not infer my interest in art solely from attending an exhibition; indeed, I barely comprehend the foundational elements of any artistic work. You might naturally wonder why I undertook such a journey: The truth is that a persuasive force – presented as an enticing dinner at our town's esteemed upper-class restaurant – propelled me there. My "philosopher" friend, who also revels in the arts, none other than provided this bribe to entice me into going there.

What did you see, feel and experience?
Incidentally, a private art gallery showcased an array of paintings from some of my country's most popular yet "late" artists. The diverse collection—composed predominantly of paintings—is suggestive towards being a collective art exhibition.
However, I remain uncertain about the presence or absence of any specific theme in this exposition; it appeared to me that many depicted scenes related to the industrial revolution experienced by my nation centuries ago.

And if given a chance, would you like to revisit.
Ultimately, my lack of interest in art and inadequate intellectual capacity prevented me from truly appreciating that particular exhibition. I must confess: the sole enjoyment recollected involves a friend mischievously dubbing me an "expert" on paintings while introducing me to one of his female acquaintances there.
