What is the business about?

I always loved to cook and eat. My family members often called me a foodie. I learned cooking from my mother and biriyani was my favorite dish. I love cooking biriyani and feeding it to other family members. recently, I got the idea of turning my passion into a business. Hence, I opened a biriyani stall near my home. I offered less price and good quality biriyani so that everyone can have a taste.

How you have got this idea?

I got this idea after watching videos on youtube. Different influencers used to post different videos of stalls. I was planning to start a cloud kitchen as it will not take any extra physical space solely dedicated for the public to sit and eat. I have always been interested in cooking and cloud kitchens can offer me that opportunity by investing fewer resources. This also requires a food license which I am yet to receive. I researched all the details over the internet before opening the shop. I found it affordable and the best side business.

What preparation and planning would it require?

I have given many thoughts about the interior of the shop. It will be a cloud kitchen but people who want to have it can have it in the shop. There will be very few tables and chairs. Next, I will need to register with a food delivery website and accept online orders. I have to also work on the website so that I attract the attention of customers. I have thought of targeting social media for marketing. I have always printed pamphlets for ongoing people on the road and at the bus stop. I have also thought of giving offers and discounts for the people who will buy large quantities. The most important thing that will be required is one person who can manage the store with me. These preparations are definitely required for the shop.

What is the business about?

A good business idea can change so many lives. I have a business idea in my mind that my sister and I have been brainstorming. We are planning to establish a B2C business plan where we will offer good quality but quirky clothing options to people. The idea popped in my head when I was scrolling jackets and all of them looked monotonous. I wanted something stylish that could convey my chirpy personality.

How you have got this idea?

After much struggle, I found one but it wasn’t exactly how I wanted. In the business plan, I have thought of offering customized designs to my customers. I would allow them the chance to suggest their design so that they do not struggle as I have. I think to work on this idea, first I will have to contact manufacturers which will be followed by creating a website with good content. Next, I will work on marketing and promotion.

What preparation and planning would it require?

For this, I will run advertisements as well as hope for organic conversions. The operations too will play a significant role as the logistics can ease the work and give a better idea about which section needs more focus. I have some clarity about how my business will go but there’s a lot that needs to be thought of. Every night after work my sister and I sit together and discuss my business idea. We are still in the research phase but I am hoping soon I will be able to bring this business to life.

What is the business about?

Although no one in the family has ever run a business, I have the desire to become a successful entrepreneur. In India, currently, there is a wave of business that is running. Everyone is willing to run a startup and come up with ideas, get funding and establish an empire. The small business idea that I have in mind is to run a small cafe somewhere in the hills.

How you have got this idea?

I got this idea when I was reading a book in the cafe and realized how nice it would have been if from the glass pane, instead of busy streets and huge buildings, mountains and rivers were visible. I love the mountains and even though currently, I am working in a metropolitan city, I eventually would move to one of the hill stations to settle permanently. Therefore, I have thought of running a cafe that would offer reading with snacks and beverages. If I had the money, I would have run away right now and started the cafe. I even have thought of a name for it.

What preparation and planning would it require?

I will have to resign from my job and look for a good location to build my cafe. I will also need to hire some staff who can serve in the cafe. I know I will need a lot of money for this and I am planning to get a loan from a bank. Once these things are sorted out, I will try to build a social media presence for my cafe. I am aware that no empire was ever built in a day and hence I have started to research more about it every day. I am learning new things every day and I hope to start enforcing my business idea soon.
