Model Answer 1

When and where did you see it?

Being a fan of action genre, I have an enormous list of movies to be consider as my favortie one. Out of those, KGF: Chapter 2 is my most favorite movie. I watched the movie at the theatre along with my friends and got the goosebumps from the first to last.

What type of film was it?

The KGF: Chapter 2 is a second series of the movie KGF Chapter 1, which is based on an action-drama genre of movies. The movie centers around the protagonist Rocky, who after rising to power in the Kolar Gold Fields, must maintain his dominance over rivals and authorities while simultaneously confronting his past.

What the film was about?

The story of the film starts after its prequel(Chapter 1). It displayed how Rocky, after killing Garuda took over the empire of KGF or Narachi Limestone Corporation. The sole intention of his is to be the richest person in the world, as per his mother’s wish at the time she died when Rocky was young. Fulfilling his mother’s wish remained in his vein from his early childhood. He took care of the people in KGF, who used to work in the goldmines in KGF. In the meantime, he crosses the paths of the biggest gangster of KGF, named Adheera, who at first injured Rocky and spared him to gave him a warning to stay out of his way. However, he made a biggest comeback with the help of Inayath Khaleel from Dubai, who helped him with the supply of armors. His another biggest opponent was Ramika Sen, the prime minister. She also warned him that she will snatch away all his popularity and his KGF, but he told her that nothing could even stop him from the vows he had taken about becoming the richest and an influential man in the world. He also told him that she could not even touch her, as all the political powers are in his side and for killing a criminal like him, she should go out of the system and should think like a criminal. Later on, Adheera kills Rocky's pregnant wife and this enrages Rocky and the event followed in a biggest clash betwwen the two and in the timebeing, Rocky kills Adheera. He then came to know that Guru Pandian, a poltical leader, was the main mastermind behind all these, and therefore he killed him also. Later on, the film concludes with Rocky’s death at the time he was sailing the ship and moving to a foreign country with all the gold extracted from the KGF, explaining that Rocky kept his mother’s promise that at the time of death he will die as the richest and powerful person in the world.

And explain why it is your favourite film?

KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the best favourite movie of mine as it tells a narrative with tenacity and creates the pace of suspense from very beginning till the end. There wasn’t a single moment in the entire movie which makes it a boring one. Each of the scenes created an elevation, also the cinematography and background scores of this movie is top-notch, just like a cherry on the cake. Although the narrative moves at a constant rapid pace, viewers are given adequate time to adapt the information which are displayed. This movie actually showed that each cast and crew members from bigger to smaller casts, set designers and others are equally important to create a magnum opus.

When and where did you see it?

The name of my favourite movie is 'Casablanca' which was directed by Michael Curtiz. It was released in 1943 and the story was adapted from a stage-play named 'Everybody comes to Ricks'. The movie starred Humphery Bogart & Ingrid Bergman and was made in the USA.

What type of film was it?

It was a romantic drama film and the storyline was set during World War II. It focuses on a man torn between love and virtue. In 1941 American expatriate Rick who professed to be neutral by all means met his former lover Ilsa in his nightclub and gambling den. She was accompanied by her husband, Laszlo, a renowned fugitive Czech Resistance Leader. They needed a letter to escape to America, where he can continue his work against the Nazis. The German Major came to Casablanca to see that Laszlo did not succeed.

What the film was about?

One night Ilsa confronted Rich in the deserted cafe and asked for the letter. She threatened him with a gun for the letter and later on confessed that she still loved him. Rick's bitterness dissolved when he learned that Ilsa was married to Laszlo before even their relationship began. When Rick and Ilsa planned to fly together, she could not do so because all of a sudden she found that her husband was still alive and needed her badly to recover. Hearing the story Rick calmed down and agreed to give the letter to Laszlo so that he can fly to America safely. They would take a different path to fly away together. But finally, Rick let Ilsa and Laszlo fly to America which surprised Ilsa very much.

And explain why it is your favourite film?

In 1989, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry as being deemed 'Culturally', 'Historically' and 'Aesthetically' significant. It is the second-best movie of all time based on AFI's 100 best movies of all time. I've seen the movie more than 2-3 times. The story is excellent, the casting, plot, acting, dialogues and all other aspects of the movie are superb. The movie deeply touched me and became the most favourite movie I have ever seen.

When and where did you see it?

I have always loved watching movies and maybe it is a bit childish to love animated movies, Frozen is one of the most amazing and beautiful movies that I ever saw and remains my favourite till date. From the story to the depiction of the movie I have loved everything. The movie released in 2013 but I saw the movie when I was in my first year of college in 2016 three years later.

What type of film was it?

Frozen is a film that released in 2013 which is a Disney Animated Movie that is set across a kingdom in a fairy land based on two sisters Anna and Elsa. The story revolves around these two sisters who are trapped in a perpetual land of magic and where one sister, Anna, tries to rescue Elsa from her trap of ice and break the curse of ice.

What the film was about?

Frozen is a story based on the land of Arrendelle who has two beautiful princesses Elsa and Anna. Elsa is blessed and cursed with magical powers which lets are control and create ice and snow. While Elsa and Anna, the two sisters when young used to play a lot with Elsa’s power of making ice, it started to get worse when Elsa was unable to control her power of creating ice and snow. On her 21st Birthday, while Elsa is crowned the Queen of Arendelle, her powers grow extreme which freezes the kingdom of Arendelle in a completely cold winter. Seeing her people in depsair, Elsa runs away in the wild. Anna tries to find her with the help of the sidekick reindeer, the snowman, and Prince of Hans who Anna falls in love with at first sight. While Elsa runs away in the wild, it is there that she finally is able to acknowledge her powers and builds a palace with snow. However, Hans only wanted te kingdom of Arendelle. When, Anna and Elsa meet, Elsa mistakenly freezes Anna’s heart. Kristoff, one of their friends, takes Anna to his native place who say that it can be undone only out of treu love when someone kisses her. While Hans was asked to do the same, he left Anna to die and tried killing Elsa as well. However, Anna was able to stop Hans from the same and froze completely eventually. However, the love of Elsa for Anna unfroze her and that’s what made Elsa’s love for Arendelle also unfreeze the city.

And explain why it is your favourite film?

The story moved me to the core because of the extremely beautiful storyline which did not just revolve around a love story between a prince and a princess but between two sisters who would die to save each other at all costs. The movie also depicted the true friendships from Kistoff and Olaf and proved that when true friends are together, it is possible to overcome any challenge. Hence, this movie is one of the most beautiful movies for me by Disney.
