What this food is?

India is a multicultural nation. There are several cultures, traditions, and culinary practices. Here, a variety of foods are shown. Nearly every state has a distinctive cuisine item. People adore trying new foods. So they try foods from various states. The earliest country to manufacture spices is India. Most people enjoy eating spicy meals. Various sweets are available in addition to spices. Rasgulla is renowned for its appearance and flavor. It is the most popular sweet both in Bengal and around the world. No occasion is complete without this. No of the occasion, rosogolla will always be put on a platter. For instance, if a birthday party is taking place, the mother will feed her child rosogolla. She then gave the guests that along with a few additional hot nibbles.

Another example is when there is sad news of death, people carry rosogolla to the house to show their condolence. This implies love and respect to the family.

On what occasions people enjoy?

In a Bengali family, the rosogolla will arrive at the conclusion of the supper if there is a marriage ceremony. People in the community used to compete with one another. Who can consume the most rosogollas is the focus of the competition. Previously, they consumed at least 20 rosogollas.

Although there are many diseases that people are afflicted with today. There are numerous limitations on eating practises. People who struggle with their sugar intake stay away from rosogollas. But rosogolla continued to reside in their hearts. Nevertheless, the tradition of rosogolla is still alive today. It is the most well-known candy. Rosogollas are quite tasty. They are drenched in sugar syrup and tender. In winter there are hot rosogollas. People love to eat rosogollas in every season. Nowadays, varieties of rosogollas are invented like baked rosogolla, packet rosogolla and many more. Rosogolla is not just a sweet, it is an emotion of every Bengali people. 99 out of 100 people will undoubtedly say that rosogolla is their favorite sweet.

India is a festival-oriented nation. A festival cannot exist without food. Every festival has a distinct flavour. In our nation, there are so many different religions. Various religious practises have different characteristics. Similar to that, there are variations in eating behaviours. People enjoy eating their traditional foods on special occasions. I want to talk about biryani, which is a crucial and indispensable food served during EID celebrations. Muslims celebrate EID as a holiday.

Muslims prepare meals together to celebrate Eid al-Adha. Biryani is celebrated as the winner. After Ramadan, when people fast, Eid needs to be celebrated lavishly. Rice and meat are combined to make the dish known as biryani. It's a hot dish. Egg and potato are also included. The spices are mixed after the rice has been cooked. The ingredients are then poured there. The biryani is prepared after some time. Additionally, it has a great flavour. Everybody enjoys eating biryani. The demand for biryani is really high. There are numerous little biryani shops on every street. The cost of biryani is affordable for everyone. Food that isn't very healthy. But whenever people are pleased, they enjoy eating biryani. Even the smallest celebrations require biryani.

These days, everyone enjoys biryani, not only Muslims. The celebration of someone's birthday or a work promotion will undoubtedly include biryani. Restaurants provide a variety of biryani dishes. The most popular types of biryani are chicken, mutton, and vegetarian. One can satisfy his hunger for a low cost by ordering just one plate of biryani. As a result, festivities are now known by the name of biryani.

I like biryani the most. On my birthday, biryani is the most served dish. My friends always demand to eat biryani cooked by my mother. She is an awesome cook. There is no alternative to her biryani. From small occasions to grand meetings, biryani is always present.

To make an event special, food is very important. Special food can make a day really very special. Just to erase the boredom and to taste something new, people love to cook new dishes and enjoy that too. As India is a country of diversity, there is a huge diverse taste of food. According to culture the food also changes. People love to celebrate events by sitting together and eating together. In Bengali culture luchi is something like that. Bengalis love to eat luchi in special events. Now I would like to talk about luchi for example.

On what occasions people enjoy?

In Bengali culture Durga Puja is very essential. It’s the most significant festival in Bengali culture. People wait for a year to celebrate this puja. It’s the most famous Puja in India. There is a special ritual to eat luchi, alur dom, misti in Nabami. It’s a dish made of maida basically known as flour. In English luchi is termed as flatbread. It’s a fried dish. It looks like a disc. Furthermore, it tastes the best when it is hot. Alur dom means potato curry. Luchi and alum dom are like forever companions. After this dish, there comes rosogolla. All three dishes made the celebration complete.

Why it is liked by people?

People also love to eat mutton curry with luchi. Luchi is something one can easily eat with another dish. It’s very delicious. Though health conscious people want to avoid oily food, they are unable to resist luchi in Nabami. Luchi is not only a dish, it’s an emotion.

Nowadays, there are a lot of restrictions on food. Health issues are there in high percentage. Though when people gather together, they just don’t ignore the special food. Special events are celebrated by eating luchi, alur dom and misti. Vegetarian people love to eat these dishes. The non-vegetarian people eat mutton with luchi. Luchi’s taste increases a lot when it is eaten with mutton kosha. Bengali are alleged to have a tendency to eat a lot. But whenever you taste their favorite and special dish, you will also be amazed by the taste. Thus, luchi becomes the main dish in celebrating Durga Puja.
