What she/he does?

She is currently completing her MBBS from King George Medical College, Lucknow. I remember we first met in 2007 and most probably it was a period when we were in class 9th. She was new in the city of Lucknow, U.P., and had come from Jhansi. She had just enrolled in the school for a medical stream and used to sit along with me in the class.

When did you both meet for the first time?

Our very first day together was such a worst day up till now. We simply fought over a pen, although that was a misunderstanding, which was clarified by us and that was our first step towards our precious friendship.

What do you usually do together?

Albeit, I would say that it just happened that on her first day in the school. She couldn’t get an empty seat while I was sitting alone since my friend was absent on that day. I asked her to sit along with me and introduced myself. Sometimes, I wonder, if I couldn’t meet her anyhow, how would I have survived. From then onwards, we became friends and our bond is getting stronger with the passage of time.

Contemporarily, we both are engaged in our studies, that’s why we get very little time for each other to meet in person. But anyhow, we take out time at least once a week to share all our whereabouts. In the holidays, we often plan to watch movies together in the nearby Multiplex cinema.

I call her my best friend since she is my emotional support system and also helps me a lot in my difficult times. Whenever I needed support, she was always there to boost me up. She is extremely honest about our friends and one of the most trustworthy persons I have ever met. This is the reason why I consider her as my best friend.

What she/he does?

He and I go back to my time in school. We shared meals, assisted each other with our studies, played football in the evening, stood shoulder to shoulder in difficult times, and eventually we grew close. We continue to be connected and take solace in our quiet, which is often seen as a reflection of a strong relationship.

When did you both meet for the first time?

I recently graduated from my science major, while Eric graduated from his arts major. We enjoy discussing our private matters because he is the one person with whom I feel completely comfortable opening up. We frequently love playing chess, watching movies, travelling, debating our political views, and exchanging ideas about our future careers. He occasionally gives me advice on how to handle difficulties and pressures, and he frequently utters the phrase "hold tight, buddy, each cloud does have a silver lining."

What do you usually do together?

Best buddies are inevitably close and more akin to brothers than friends. Erik has already shown, in my opinion, that he will back me in every way he can and assist me in getting out of any difficult circumstance. He is the sort of buddy that a person only meets either once twice in life. He will remain my best friend, and his impact on my life is undeniable.

What she/he does?

At present, I live in Delhi and she stays in Lucknow with her family. She is pursuing her career as an HR in some company. We hardly get time out of our tight schedules but we always end up calling each other every alternate day. We spill the tea over the call and have all our emotional and social exchanges via call only.

When did you both meet for the first time?

We haven't been friends since day 1 of class 11th but our bond gradually developed over some time, and that too unanimously. I appreciate all her efforts in doing so. Then, we became school friends and we used to sit on the last benches, discussing ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’. And this discussion sparked our bond. Since then, we have never been alone.

What do you usually do together?

I call her my best friend because I know I have her back and she is the one who has the competence and is passionate about everything in her life. She is always there for me, at all times. It’s been 8 years since we came in touch and till now our bond is the same as a friend and eventually getting better over time.
