Model Answer 1

What is it?

A smartphone is very common nowadays; it has become a necessity in this modern time. Almost everyone has a smartphone in my neighborhood, but I do not have a smartphone of my own.

How many of your friends own it?

I guess almost all of my classmates have a smartphone, I also wish to have one as soon as I turn 18.

Having a smartphone is very common in our country, even for young students who are

just over 12 years old or so. Many parents view a smartphone as an essential tool to keep in touch with their children. So most of my classmates have a phone. Most of them use their phones to talk to their family and friends, browse the internet, play games and maintain their social profiles - among other things. But, my family considers having a smartphone is a distraction from academic studies and outdoor activities. Perhaps, my father is not in favor of allowing me to own a smartphone while I am still young, and I have not argued with them on this issue.

If you want to own it and explain what you would do once you own it?

I think I will do a lot of things once I have my own smartphone. First and foremost, I will

use the built-in high-resolution camera to capture some nice pictures and then upload

them to my Instagram account. Then, I will download and install some useful applications that would help me keep in touch with my family and friends.

Perhaps I will also install a couple of games to test them out. Sometimes I play games on my friend's mobile which I find really interesting. So I will download and play some games, I guess. Finally, I will browse the internet to learn new things and get help on my academic subjects.

Model Answer 2

What is it?

As a local college student residing far from my campus, I rely on public transportation for commuting. Similarly to me, some friends who live at considerable distances from our college utilize motorcycles or bicycles; yet we all share an upcoming plan: the procurement of personal bicycles in light of recognizing the freedom and convenience they offer. I appreciate receiving this intriguing topic.

How many of your friends own it?

I intend to elucidate my desire for owning a bicycle by discussing three key aspects: the underlying reasons why; an inventory of how many friends also possess one, and lastly--outlining future plans upon acquiring it.

Considering its eco-friendliness, a bicycle excels as a mode of transportation; moreover, it fosters optimal fitness and health for the rider. Considering all these reasons I believe it imperative that I procure a personal bicycle. Further to this, my father has been apprised; upon hearing of the matter – he responded with assurance – promising an acquisition of a distinguished two-wheeler within the forthcoming weeks.

If you want to own it and explain what you would do once you own it?

Should I secure a bicycle, myriad purposes will see its use: primarily, it will serve as my mode of transportation for commuting to and from college; secondarily - and more personally - riding in public buses becomes an experience that no longer troubles me. Furthermore, unrestricted by the temporal constraints I currently experience when borrowing my friend's bicycle, I will have easy access to citywide travel at any given moment. Ultimately: cycling presents an exceptional opportunity for rigorous physical exercise; one that is both enjoyable and convenient. Riding it every day will assist in maintaining my health: these are the initial plans I have for utilizing a bicycle.
