What is it?

Running is one of the activities I like to do to keep myself in shape. I put my socks up, put on my running shoes, and hit the road every day between six and seven in the morning. I tend to prefer the morning over the nighttime because the roads are practically deserted at that time. Because there is less congestion on the road, therefore my odds of running into someone else are also low.

How often are you doing it?

There is a walking path along the sides of the roads in my city. These tracks are my favourite for running. In the absence of that, I also go to a park close by with a 1.5 km-long route for running. On workdays, I typically go alone. On the other hand, several of my friends come along with me on the weekends. Running was a challenging activity in the past. I used to become out of breath really quickly since I was out of shape. I find running to be calming now that it's been a while.

How are you doing it and how does it keep you fit?

Numerous health advantages of running are available. It strengthens the bones and aids in muscular growth. A just half-hour of running can also affect my emotions in addition to getting my body in great shape. Running also helps you burn calories while reducing your risk of cardiovascular disease. Additionally, this activity helps me maintain a healthy weight.

What is it?

Everyone has their own way of keeping themselves fit and healthy doing different kinds of activities. Some join the gym in order to carry out heavy weights and do cardio for their physical and mental fitness. Some other people join yoga centres as a way of keeping themselves fit. Further, many people also engage in sporting activities in order to keep themselves fit and healthy. However, I myself engage in swimming which I have engaged in since quite long number of years thereby being able to keep myself fit and healthy. I have been swimming since the age of five and I have been able to gather immense potential in the sport as well as keep myself constantly healthy. 

How often are you doing it?

Of course, the difference is that once I was growing up as a toddler, I used to enjoy swimming only for the fun of it. But today, I do swimming because it helps me remain healthy. Besides,, I swim mostly in a local swimming bath. This is because the city, in which I live now, doesn’t have many natural lakes, rivers, or any ocean where I might be ready to enjoy this activity better. Anyway, I enjoy this healthy activity with a bunch of other guys, and that I do every weekend. By the way, I'm trying to form a swimming club in my city so as to make swimming more of a fun activity instead of considering it as only a healthy activity.

How are you doing it and how does it keep you fit?

I am engaged in swimming by playing the sport for every weekend. I always try to maintain a pace while swimming and with my friends I even engage in competitions of our own. It helps to keep me fit considering that the entire body movement is involved in it. It helps in awakening all my senses and keeps me in constant motion. It helps in building of enduring as well as muscular strength. Moreover, It helps in keeping my cardiovascular fitness under maintenance thereby helping in keeping a strong heart health and tones my muscles.

What is it?

I cannot just think of one activity that I do in order to keep myself healthy and fit. Basically, my fitness routine is a complete package of all the essential activities that can have an all round effect in keeping my body and health fit. I have the habit of waking up early in the morning and going for long walks with my mom and dad. Then we engage in some 10 minutes of jogging and then visit a park nearby for our daily dose of physical exercises. This includes cycling through the park along with some physical training from doing jumping jacks to crunches and even stretches. Eventually, after a good exercise, I go to my swimming club to swim and engage my whole body to build endurance and muscular strength. 

How often are you doing it?

I remember my father insisting we wake very early then take us to the nearby high school ground for exercise. Nowadays, I get up from bed at around 5:30 am, wear my exercise trousers and a pair of shoes. Then I start walking alongside the road beside the river. The fresh air in the morning is extremely good for health. Sometimes I take my bicycle and rather than walking, I ride my cycle. I started doing this early morning exercise and swimming a couple of years back but nowadays two of my friends and cousins accompany me almost every day. They enjoy doing exercise equally.

How are you doing it and how does it keep you fit?

The morning may be a time when the air and environment remain fresher than at any time of the day. So breathing the fresh air, doing the exercises and eventually swimming within the freshwater is certainly a really healthy habit. A sound mind lies on a sound body and this habit that I adopted is pretty helpful for keeping sound health and a sound mind. WIth the help of this entire routine that we follow everyday, I ensure that I am also involved in eating healthy food and only once a week have a cheat day where I eat anything I like especially fast food. This helps me in maintaining a balanced diet and physical fitness threby keeping me fresh and healthy all through.
