Model Answer 1

What did you do?

Since childhood I always had a fear of water because of one incident when I almost drowned in a pool. However, one of the most new things and an exciting one that I did was to go on a trip to the beach where I even had the experience of playing and swimming and even diving underwater. My friends definitly helped me in overcoming my aquaphobia and I had the most exciting experience of my life.

When and where did you do it?

Last month we went for a trip to Goa, where I enrolled in an underwater diving course. I was kind of fascinated to go underwater and see Marine life with my own eyes. To see the sharks, Octopuses, turtles, and fishes of different colors was something of great excitement. I was scared as well as excited for my first underwater experience.

Who did you do it with?

Firstly, I had to attend 4 days of theory sessions, and then the open water dives in the pool and then in the sea (where the water was shallow). However, even after being so terrified, I somehow managed to clear all the tests. My diving Instructor made extra efforts to build up my confidence level. After a week’s training, I was somehow ready for the ultimate experience of my life- the first underwater dive.

Why do you think it was exciting?

I was taken along with three other people in a motorboat into the sea. These are the people with whom I shared my experience. As we reached the point, we were told to put on our suits and gears. I took a very deep breath and was the last one to finally dive into the sea. Firstly, it felt terrifying, but the instructor calmed me down by being there with me under the water. Gradually, the feeling got amazing. The feeling of weightlessness that is generally experienced either by the astronauts or by the scuba divers is something that I cannot express in words. The view under the water made me forget my fear. I enjoyed each and every scene down there. It was a whole new experience for me. I learned to have control over my fear and also in my mind. One of the best decisions that I took was to be courageous enough to overcome my phobia f water and I was able to learn and experience underwater world and life.

Model Answer 2

What did you do?

I have always wanted to go for a trekking trip with my friends. I have never visited mountain ranges in my life and I wanted my vacations and first trip with my friends to be for a trekking that we have been planning for at least three months. A year ago, in the month of September, my friends and I went for a trekking expedition at Pelling, Sikkim. We reached Pelling and met with our trek advisor who took us for the trek on the second day of our trip. We were carrying food, water, a few medicines, and other gear and equipment with us.

When and where did you do it?

The mountain trip did make my quite uncomfortable because of the risky roads and I continuously kept vomiting on the way. I did fell sick but was still exciting. We were going for the Dzongri Trek and while the roads were difficult initially that made me sick, it was one of the best experiences. The Dzongri trek is one of the most difficult treks. We had to travel to an altitude of 4,200 meters. It was the month of September and allowed me to have the most exciting experience.

Who did you do it with?

I was with my three friends and the other people in the group were unknown people we met for the trek. In the entire trek, we cooked our own food, slept in tents, had bonfires, and walked for miles. The journey was difficult. During the daytime, we only had to rely upon dry fruits and fruits and a few snacks. Trekking can be difficult for the ones who aren’t physically fit. It offers a lot of thrill. But, the love for mountains and the sceneries will almost make you forget everything.

Why do you think it was exciting?

We traveled for 10 days and finally reached the destination. The scenery from that altitude was something that had a different feeling. Reaching the top of the mountain will make you forget all the bad experiences, and tiredness of the complete journey. We were so overwhelmed to reach the top of the mountain. I have never seen such beautiful scenery in my life. We could see the shining peak of Kanchenjunga right in front of us. The sun rays falling on the peaks of the Kanchenjunga made it look so spectacular. This was the most exciting and best-trekking expedition of our life.

Model Answer 3

What did you do?

I always worried about if I would be able to land a job of my own choice after graduating from college. However, with the campus selections bringing in companies that I literally dreamt of workung for, I got myself a job at one of the media houses which is one of the best in the country.

When and where did you do it?

The most annoying thing about my job life is that it is 6-days per week and also the work hours which are the most difficult part of the job. Also, I was not feeling like continuing the job. At some point in time, I felt like I would leave it. But, I somehow got used to it in the past 6 months. Luckily, I have made some amazing colleagues who entertain us the entire time. My group is so good and fun-loving that I barely feel stressed.

Who did you do it with?

It was honestly difficult to adapt to the environment, timings as it was completely a new routine. So, a couple of months were hard to handle. But, gradually things are great now. I am enjoying the work environment, the company of great colleagues, and understanding seniors. The office now feels like a second home. Everyone is ready to help at any point in time, which I realized gradually. I am getting to learn new and productive things every day which is very exciting.

Why do you think it was exciting?

Overall, the work-life now is a mixture of both stress and excitement. I am liking this new work-life of mine. I’m glad that I have made great friends, supportive colleagues, and an exciting work life. It is the kind of experience every individual goes through in his/her life. I am happy that I am finally getting comfortable with my job and corporate life. I feel very much confident and ready for every sort of challenge.
