Model Answer 1

What it is?

It was quite common practice to sacrifice dreams in our society. This especially happens in middle-class families. I had a love for sports and swimming was my passion. I loved to swim and it was my dream to represent my country in the Olympics. Through tough competitions, it seemed far to achieve but my mom always supported me through all my failures.

Why is it difficult?

I was having my board exams. All around people were glorifying education and comparing me with my elder sister who was very studious. I was under the immense pressure of studies. The constant comparison slowly became self-doubt within me for my studies. The unsaid pressure laid a layer of fear that I might fail on boards. After an exhaustive day at school, then tuition, and swimming sessions, I had very less time for myself which increased my difficulties.

How would you like to prepare for it?

Among all these difficulties, my mother was the reason for me to stay sane and persevered. I wasn’t able to spend much time swimming and that left me sadder till the end of the day. So I discussed this with my mom. She said with a warm smile that my marks do not affect her that much as she has seen my abilities and passion for swimming, she added that the 60s are not a bad score. That left me satisfied, now I wanted to pursue my dream badly for my mom because she believed in me. Deep down even my mom knew that scoring good marks just studying the last year and suppressing the desire to swim for a whole year was a big deal for me.

Explain why you would like to be successful in doing it?

I decided to go as per my heart, and I discontinued my tuition. I spent more time working hard and swimming. Satisfaction filled my heart when I came home, exhausted yet happy. This satisfaction helped me to spend an hour on my studies every day. My board results came, I did not score as high as my sister, but I was happy with what I scored. I was happier with the constant improvement that my coach appreciated in my swimming, I knew my dreams are not far if I keep going. I feel achieving this is necessary as this would be another example for all the dreamers out there to believe in the power of dreams. This will encourage parents, and friends to support each other in achieving their dreams. This will be another milestone in proving that passion and dreams give more than just what education can.

Model Answer 2

What it is?

Coming from a civil background and with no one from a defense profession in my family, I did not have anyone to guide me as I was aiming to join the defense forces. Self-discipline is difficult. With no one to monitor, one can easily go off track and lose the goal. My inspiration to join the defense forces came from the lifestyle of people who were already a part of it.

Why is it difficult?

Being a science student I already had difficulty managing my assignments, presentations, and projects along with the defense exam preparations. Apart from defense exam preparations, there were physical standards to be met and excelled in to stand at the top among the numerous applicants. Some people have a sports background and have experience of how the exam goes as they had attempted it before. This just added to my nervousness making things more difficult for me. My final year in my degree was already peaking and it was difficult to manage the degree exams and to keep the habit of the recent changes that I adopted to crack the defense exams together.

How would you like to prepare for it?

To ease my path to cracking the defense exam, I started to read more, waking up at 5:30 in the morning for a jog, and solving question sets for an hour. It was difficult for me to stay consistent every day. All the changes just didn’t suddenly fit into my schedule, but I had to slowly inculcate them. There were days when I overslept, skipped solving question sets for completing other assignments, etc. The one thing that made the difference was my mindset which was ready to accept a backlog yet start from the beginning again.

Explain why you would like to be successful in doing it?

By achieving this, I would be the only person in my family to join the defense forces, and I love to stand apart from the crowd. The defense forces provide facilities not only for you but also for your family. The disciplined lifestyle that these forces teach you is something that stays with you for a long, you will know how to make complete use of all the time that you have thus made use of all your potential. You will be a living example for all others.

Model Answer 3

What it is?

Growing up in the world with my parents as bookworms is a blessing. My house doesn’t have a television set, instead, we have different racks for each one of us with our books. From a young age, I was introduced to reading. But I always wanted to try different careers at the same time. Reading books gave me the advantage of having a rich vocabulary and strong sentence formation skills. Due to this, I was able to land a job as a content writer. I also loved cake making. Apart from this, I have a bachelor’s degree in botany, so I wanted to pursue a master’s in it. Multitasking was taking a toll on my sleep schedule.

Why is it difficult?

Writings of J.K Rowling, M.A. Larson, Chris Rylander, Michael Scott, Todd Calgi Gallicano, etc encouraged me to start writing adventure series stories. I had many goals at the same time which made things difficult. The money that I earned as a part-time content writer was used in the cake-making business. I had to have a strict schedule for fulfilling all the tasks at once. Some days writer's block would make its way into my schedule, increasing my stress levels and decreasing the quality of my writing.

How would you like to prepare for it?

My master’s degree college did not require me to visit college which saved much of my time, but this threw much of it into self-study. I had to manage different orders without messing up the flavors and had to send them for delivery on time. My content writing job had 5 hours of my day. I usually did not get time to complete my writing of the adventure series. A week before my end-semester exams, I had to quit cake-making and content writing.

Explain why you would like to be successful in doing it?

I wanted to be independent as soon as possible as it gives me room to make mistakes and learn more. My master’s degree was necessary as it will help me fetch a job with good pay. With that pay, I can fund my cake-making business. I aimed to continue writing fully for my adventure series. I know that all the multitasking difficulties that I have undertaken will help me succeed in having the life that I desire.
