Model Answer 1

Who is the person?

We all have our favourite people that we enjoy spending time with, regardless of our age, gender, or relationship status. Therefore, even if she can't always make herself available to me due to her domestic obligations, it's my devoted mother with whom I strive to spend as much time as possible.

How do you know him/her?

As for me, I love spending my time with my mother – the gentle and caring woman who was required to carry me almost for ten months in her womb and raised me for nearly 21 years to help me grow into a proper lady by having to endure all kinds of pain and agony.

What do you usually do together?

When she does have time for me, however, we do things together like watch funny Television programs or bake new kinds of cakes using our recipes. We also go to the supermarket together on occasion, which is one of my favourite parts to do on weekends, to buy some fruits and vegetables. By the manner, we get to do these things on most weekends and during other holiday seasons because that's when I don't have to be concerned about going to school or doing schoolwork. And, when it comes to my studies, she is so invested in my education that she sits with me on occasion to observe what I study!

Why do you like to spend time with him/her?

Now, if you ask me why I enjoy spending time with my dear mother, I will tell you that she makes me feel very safe and appreciated, even when I make mistakes. I enjoy spending time with her because she tries to teach me a lot about life's "realities," as to whether she has a response to everything, no matter how difficult life or circumstances become.

Model Answer 2

Who is the person?

I like to spend most of my time with Steven as a friend. He and I have always been friends, dating back to elementary school. He is a kind, talented person who always wants the best for others. His aptitude for maths makes him a student. When he does so, it tremendously helps me in my studies and helps him explain complicated mathematical theories in a clear and interesting way. He reads a great deal, and he frequently lends me books. Politics and books are topics that we talk about a lot.

How do you know him/her?

I first met him when I was in primary school when I was only eight years old. Following that, our friendship grew and we became best friends. He forgot to bring his physics book to school one day, so I offered to help him with my book. We talked for a long time after class, and our friendship blossomed. We attended the same college, but we were accepted to two different universities.

What do you usually do together?

We can meet and spend time with each other whenever we want now that we are studying in the same city. We haven't finished our studies yet, and we're both busy with our own lives, but whenever we have vacations, we spend time together. We visit each other's homes because we live in the same town and thus meet at least twice a month.

Why do you like spending time with him/her?

I enjoy spending time with him because we share a lot of similar interests. Spending time with him never bores me. We have a good understanding of each other because we have been friends for a long time. When we are in need, a good friend always extends a helping hand, and Steven does the same for me and others. We have a lot of fun together and support each other in our studies. Friendship, understanding, and shared interests bring us closer together, and it is for these reasons that I enjoy spending time with him.

Model Answer 3

Who is this person?

In an effort to rekindle our friendship, Ivan, a childhood buddy with whom I got along great until the day he left our hometown, approached me. But it was impossible because of how far apart we were from one another. Because of this, the only time we may actually meet is when I visit his city to go shopping, which only happens once a month.

How do you know him/her?

He was a childhood friend of mine, but I lost track of him about 15 years ago when his father had to relocate from my hometown to another large city to keep his job. Since then, I haven't seen him much until a couple of years ago, when I ran into him at a local fish market near my home.

After more than 15 years, I could barely recognize him because he had grown into a "big man" in his mid-20s. I would have never recognized him unless his uncle, his only living relative, was kind enough to introduce him to me after all these years, leaving me speechless and overjoyed!

What do you usually do together?

Because he is his parent's only child, Ivan can be emotionally unstable and demanding at times. Ivan, who has a reserved demeanour, told me that he didn't have many friends outside of me and a number of other people from college. We literally discuss our habits, our leisure activities and hand out at different food places in the city. I enjoy spending time with Ivan because he takes his life and career very seriously. Besides, since childhood, I've been able to trust him with my life as a brother because he would never reveal our "secrets" (friends have "secrets"). They do, don't they?).

Why do you like spending time with him/her?

Because he doesn't have any siblings, he treats me rather like a brother than a friend, always advising me to take good care of my ageing parents, which I greatly appreciate. Finally, I enjoy spending time with Ivan because he recognizes and respects the value of my time, as well as the fact that few people would befriend him due to his introverted nature.
