In recent years, gardening has become a very well-liked pastime in my nation. Many of the folks I know enjoy gardening. However, since I learned how to cultivate plants from him, I'll be talking about him today.

My granddad picked up this pastime after retiring. He was a former instructor from China Agricultural University, therefore he had some expertise in plants. Before retiring, he did not have much time.

His home has a sizable backyard, so there is plenty of room for growing plants. He began by planting rose and jasmine blossoms. Then he planted various fruit plants, including pomegranate, apple, and orange trees. He now has a kitchen garden where he raises all of his own veggies.

Pesticides and other chemicals are widely utilised in agriculture today. He therefore dislikes purchasing veggies from the market. Vegetables cultivated organically are still offered on the market today, but their costs are too exorbitant at the moment. Additionally, I think his vegetables taste differently. Perhaps it's because he composts kitchen trash instead of utilising chemicals.

What type of plant does he/she grow?

Every year I plant cabbage, beans, and sweet corn in my backyard, but all I ever get is a lot of weeds, so I guess I don't have much of a green thumb. I did, however, have a lot of spare time at Corona time, so I took some gardening lessons from my grandfather. That's when I learned how much he knew and how much he loved gardening. He showed me, for instance, how to properly and organically handle common pests, illnesses, and weeds that may ruin a garden.

I initially just had a small number of tomatoes. However, with Grandpa's assistance, I am now able to plant, tend to, and harvest a variety of veggies with great success.

He is aware that if global warming continues to increase, it won't be long before it will be difficult to exist in our world. The only way to stop it is by planting more and more trees. Perhaps for this reason, he began planting trees and spreading awareness of the need to do so about ten to fifteen years ago. People at first didn't take him seriously, but he persisted. He persisted in doing so with his own funds, and as others saw his care, they began to join him. He is in charge of the Go Green NGO, which has thousands of members.
